  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

You're quite welcome. :toff:

I find it funny that we are on a Coldplay forum criticizing other bands for cheesy lyrics. lol. As much as I enjoy coldplay, I think Chris has the cheesiest, over-simple and sometimes downright nonsensical lyrics. In saying that, I like the straight-forwardness of the lyrics, and the only part of the song I find cheesy is the UNITED STAAAAAAATES part. Apart from that, I think it is a brilliant blend of influences. And they have come out in this week's NME saying that the musical side of this album isn't entirely serious, and that they even laugh at United States of Eurasia. lol

Thats because youve achieved a big FUCK in your life and youre jelaous, insulting someone with cheap shots who actually did.

Muse is a success and you are an epic fail. Im finished with you.

Hahahaha, awwwwwwwwww bless the little fanboy defending his favwite band

Are the nasty people dissing your favwite band?

You're right, I'm jealous that Matt Bellamy can compose a shit song

Also mocking someone for saying "lulz" when you yourself using the term "epic fail" is pretty rich. Especially on the grounds of you saying they fail at Englsih, there are a load of apostrophes missing in the quoted post and a spelling error on "jealous".

Man I wish I could write something as genius as "UNITED STAAAAAAAAAAATES OF EURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASIA SIIAAAAAAAAAAAA SIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAA" I'm so fricken jealous and bitter.

I also agree with Sara that the reference to 1984 is ridiculously in your face and silly, plus 1984 is really not the way the world is heading, so I wish people would stop quoting it as if it is, Brave New World is a much more scarily realistic depiction of the world we live in.

That's a good point. Coldplay has some inane lyrics too.

But we can make fun of Muse at the same time; we are just THAT good. We multitask here.

Good god youre such a parasite, quote the comment where I state someone fail at english. Some keyboards maybe lack apostrophes, because not every language is using them, but thats hard to understand for such a simpleton. Also Muse is not even my favourite band,so please quit spreading disillusion like this.

Your hypocrisy will be your downfall.

^You put a space after commas, you know.

Just saying. Because Nathan kind of speared you for grammar, and you replied with no spaces after commas. Which is a grammar mistake. So, it's like, irony. yknow.

And you mispelled "disillusion," which isn't really the appropriate word in that situation anyway. I'm not sure if English is your first language or what, etc etc, just saying.

I didnt criticise anyone for his english, because the majority of the board is non-native english speaker and we dont need to be punished for it,just because we were born in another country.

I know, but he criticized YOU for YOUR English and responding with poor English isn't a very good way of winning an argument.

edit: Also now that I think of it if you are going to criticize someone who said "lulz" for poor English and then say that non-native speakers shouldn't be punished for poor speaking, you have got a really messed-up head.

Again majority of the board should leave it,if there is that rule, but as far as I know busybeeburns is the admin not noonsun.

For the edit: I didnt say anything like,so please quit preading fake stuff,if possible, thanks.

Yeah-huh! You did too.

EXHIBIT A:

lulz
You quite fail in human language.

Go ahead and dislike a masterpiece.

:hat: I are such detective

Where exactly did I say you fail in english language. I told him he fails in human language, because he repeated with different forms of lol like 5 times in a row.

Oh, you're talking about me.

Shit.

Well you're still a hypocrite for saying Carla fails at language and THEN saying to lay off criticizing non-native English speakers.

I do exactly what I say. Youre missunderstanding the things I say which is leading you to act like an ultimate hypocrite.

No, I'm not, I still think that's a hypocritical thing to do. I am not acting hypocritical at all.

Why are we arguing about this?

I love the new song, and you know why? It's Muse going completely over-the-top and is totally theatrical. I know that's not everybody's thing, but I find it great. As for the Queen comparisons, well, you can't DENY that some parts would sound exactly like a Queen song if Freddie were singing instead of Matt, but I have no problem with it. This type of overblown, theatrical rock suits Muse really well, which is why they're such great live performers. Listening to a Muse song is an experience in itself. Just take Knights of Cydonia or Take a Bow. These are two songs that you probably either love or hate, and it's because Muse pull out all their tricks: Epic guitar parts, electric arpeggios, thumping drums, and apocalypse-style lyrics that tell a story. I personally love it. Some people may think it's cheesy or just plain stupid, but I think it's epic rock at it's best. Which is why I love United States of Eurasia, especially the middle-eastern strings and the SIA! SIA! SIA! part at the end. It makes we smile.

Plug_in_coldplaying and Mark should meet up...

I agree... they'd be best friends forever and maybe Mark can teach him some grammar.

It's actually so funny how you said I fail at english for saying "Lulz" when you SUCK at spelling, also even if the keyboard doesn't have an apostrophe it does have a space bar you know, it really is useful, in case you didn't know.

Of course you didn't, you just said I fail at english, that really isn't criticise someone AT ALL.

I agree with you, haven't seen them live though, I like the song, but hate the SIA! SIA! SIA! part.

LULZ (I'm so funny)

"Fail at language" "Fail at English" it's the same thing, you used "epic fail" which for me is more of a ridiculous thing to say that "lulz".

You're such an idiot, regardless of Muse being your favourite band or not the point I was making still stands

Which hypocrisy would this be? Please, I'd love to know.
