Cold-hearted Chris Martin won’t play for his children

CHRIS Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's nippers probably can't wait for the day the tooth fairy comes to visit.

Even though the couple have millions tucked away in the bank, they don't give their children pocket money.

The Coldplay singer is so worried about spoiling Apple and Moses that he refuses to even perform at their birthday events.

Chris said: "We are too expensive for our kids' parties.

"We cost about £50 for an hour – and we don't give them any pocket money.

"Until they can afford it, we won't play for them."

To be fair, their dad is giving them an almighty discount there.

The band were paid millions to perform at a gig in Dubai to see in 2012.

They'd need to spend a good few years doing the paper round before they got anywhere near those kind of sums.

Chris Martin & his wife Gwyneth Paltrow are rich and give everything to their children.

Funny thing about Chris Martine. The way he says things in interviews, always sounds true.

It worries me how so many people don't have irony detectors.

The question is, why is it being posted here now?

It's not irony, it's taking words out of context in a sensationalistic and malicious manner and making "news" out of nothing which is so typical for The Sun.

I wonder how many suckers actually believe it...

Well, ask Lory. :D She's a groupie and she's obsessed with paps.

^ I believed it until I read the source :\

Does that make you a sucka? :D

It's from this interview, if I remember correctly:

Because The Sun is a pit of desperation and lies. They need to scrape the bottom of the barrel for 'news', and so twist around something that was so obviously a joke just to have something to write about. It's quite pathetic, really

I don't think you got my point. Chris Martin was being ironic when he said that and the Sun and a large part of its readership don't realise this. Ever.

That was what I was saying about the irony detector thing :)

Hmm.. interesting..

Oh, it's from the Sun. *Goes away*

I do agree about the readers, but I'm pretty sure that The Sun knows it's an ironic joke, especially if they watch the video, with everyone being LOLzy. :D

But still they make these articles on purpose... They didn't even have to twist his words, they just presented them without the visual component, so you can easily get misunderstood, like when you use sarcasm on the internet. :)

Wow! "The Sun" really surprises me each and every day.
