YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHO COLDPLAY ARE AT ALL DO YOU-THE FANS MEAN EVERYTHING TO THEM-THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING-AS FOR BEING MINTED,THEY'RE THE HARDEST WORKING BAND IN THE WORLD,I HATE TO SAY IT BUT GO AND SEE TAKE THAT.

Couldn't agree more!

They will give even more when they get to Manchester. They're fit and trained for this. Nobody complained at Prince playing for 2 and a half hours and then doing aftershows. In fact, he once did THREE gigs in a day and I went to two of them (the last 2) and they were as amazing as each other. Coldplay have the same amount of energy so will be incredible.

Oh and they played Live 8 and then flew to Glasgow.

That dude obviously doesn't know what he/she's on about!

Coldplay Perform At Summertime Ball 2012: "We're Justin Bieber's Dads"

The 'Paradise' stars played a hit laden set inside Wembley Stadium this afternoon.

Coldplay kicked off the Summertime Ball 2012 in style with a hit packed set in front of a packed 80,000 fans in Wembley Stadium today (9th June).

Arriving on stage after a series of explosive pyrotechnics the band launched into their 'Mylo Xyloto' hit 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall".

After the song, Chris Martin scream: "You sound fantastic for four in the afternoon".

The group then teased the later performance of teen star Justin Bieber and confessed: "We're Justin Bieber's dads".

The group then played their smash hit 'Yellow' before giving an outing to their Rihanna collaboration 'Princess Of China'.

The band joked that the audience would have to help them out after a problem on stage.

"You'll have to help us out – it's broken but we don't care".

After a rousing rendition of Viva La Vida which brought the crowd to their feet it was time for the powerful riff of 'Charlie Brown' with the band shouting: "Are there any Beliebers out there," before the track.

Having bought 6 tickets last year for what I understood to be a Coldplay gig I feel ripped off, I dont care what they say, I have toured internationally with a band and know how hard it can be to do 2 gigs in one day. They will be contracted to do at least a 30 min set at Wembley then what? will they come to Manchester and then take the piss out of their northern fans all for the extra dollar? they are minted already and dont need the dough.

Disgusted in this, they wont even be able to get a proper sound check in and i am not arsed about roadies who can set up for them it aint the same at all.

TBH I am expecting a half arsed performance from them in Manchester because they will be worn out, the rest of the 2012 tour will be a blast for them but as a fan who has paid for the Etihad on the 9th I feel they have royally fucked us in the arse, I hope they prove me wrong and give me my 2011 Glastonbury experience again but x10.

They will prove you wrong. What's wrong with doing a 30 minutes set and then a full gig? It's been done before. It's not that big a deal. They won't be worn out they have training sessions every day and are are all in peak condition. I think it's a bit harsh assuming the don't give a shit about their northern fans - couldn't be more wrong.

I hope it won't effect their Manchester performance through tiredness, it also saddens me to see Coldplay amongst such awful acts, no wonder they get so much disrespect

These should be reasons we love them because - and I am sure you know this if you're a big fan - they are not music snobs which is great. Too many people turn their nose up at pop but they don't. Chris has admitted to loving everything from Katy Perry to the Wiggles! There's nothing wrong with pop music and I love that they're not stuck up about music.

Manchester will be incredible.
