harrisonrules
Flesh and Bone vs MX/Hurts Like Heaven Both are unbelievable openers and too close to call Runaways vs Paradise The fight between first singles ends with Coldplay winning The Way It Was vs Charlie Brown The heavy crowd favorite Charlie Brown comes out on top here Here With Me vs Us Against The World Both slow songs here but in both formats (lyrics/music) Coldplay wins A Matter Of Time vs MMIX/ETIAW Hard to decide but in the end ETIAW never really won over the fans Deadlines and Commitments vs Major Minus The MM lyrics are incredible especially the references to Peter Pan Miss Atomic Bomb vs POC Nothing against Rihanna here but the heavy favorite 2nd single takes the cake Rising Tide vs UFO Too hard for me to call here. I do love both songs. From Here On Out vs Up In Flames The most simplistic Coldplay song in years maybe even ever wins out Be Still vs AHT/DLIBYH Be Still is the best Killers song I heard since Sam's Town album Battle Born vs Up With The Birds Like I said in other thread NOTHING will top Up With The Birds Coldplay MX wins again. Give some thoughts people!

para-para-parrotdies
I'm waiting for you to start a thread comparing every album in existence to Mylo Xyloto. Get on it!
Brent
Let's compare Mylo Xyloto to Ludwig Van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Movement 1 v. Mylo Xyloto I like the bells in both but Mylo Xyloto is more radio-friendly and not for old people. Movement 2 v. Hurts Like Heaven I don't see what Ludwig was thinking I mean no words seriously wtf Movement 3 v. Paradise Para para Movement 4 v. Charlie Brown Movement 5 v. Us Against the World Movement 6 v. MMIX / ETIAW Movement 7 v. Major Minus Movement 8 v. UFO Movement 9 v. Princess of China Movement 10 v. AHT / DLIBYH Movement 11 v. Up With the Birds eh you get the point
Mark
Maybe I don't fully understand this... ...but why are you basing whole threads on your opinion of albums? Not that your opinion is important and all that, just I don't know why we need threads of one person saying "I like Mylo Xyloto a lot more than ____, ____ and ____". I wouldnt say I like them a lot more. Some matches were fairly even. Now if you compared either Killers/Muse to AROBTTH then Coldplay would destroy them. harrisonrules
Yes I understand. At the end of the day the majority of bands convert back to Coldplay somehow. This is afterall Coldplaying. That's bound to happen a lot!
Prospector
Just make ONE thread comparing MX to other albums and have fun there...

Violet
^ DO IT. (OK no, not really. I'd hate for the WoM to become cluttered with all sorts of threads like that.)
