May 29, 201313 yr I'm confused...What are us Coldplay fans called? I've heard all three being used recently! What is this madness?!? Lol So are we coldplayers, Carkids, or xylobrytes?
May 29, 201313 yr Carkids and xylobrytes are a load of bollocks. Coldplayers forever and ever and ever, amen!
May 30, 201313 yr Haha! How did these names even get started? Phil tweeted about Xylobrytes last year. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>@<a href="https://twitter.com/ihsanshaikhly">ihsanshaikhly</a> yes good question . I like Xylobrytes. They're the little graffiti aliens in our Mylo story PH</p>— Coldplay (@coldplay) <a href="https://twitter.com/coldplay/status/203622108587233280">May 18, 2012</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
May 30, 201313 yr Tbh I don't even like the word Coldplayer :| and even though it's hard and painful we have to let Car Kids go :disappointed:
May 30, 201313 yr i prefer Coldplayer, but honestly if anyone wants to call themselves anything different they can go right ahead. it's just a name. :P
May 30, 201313 yr I don't think the "name" should be associated with any one era alone so coldplayer works perfectly as a representation of all eras. after all no one was calling themselves spies or scientists or messengers or lovers back in all the other eras. At least I don’t think they were!
May 31, 201313 yr Obviously Coldplayers are the best. Sorry Phil, but for some reason "Xylobryte" sounds really stupid to me. :escaping3:
May 31, 201313 yr damn we so rebel standing up to Phil n shit Well you know, if Ian says it's Coldplayer, than Coldplayer it is. Don't care what Phil says. :P
May 31, 201313 yr Well you know, if Ian says it's Coldplayer, than Coldplayer it is. Don't care what Phil says. :P Exactly!
June 1, 201313 yr Car kids are non existent! Xylobrytes is a ridiculous name Coldplayers sounds fine but I always thought it means someone in the band Coldplay, not a fan of it  so because I am boring I prefer Coldplay fans or Fans de Coldplay :P sounds less exclusive. After all it's not a nationality.
June 1, 201313 yr I think Coldplayer is more universal and everyone knows what you're talking about. Plus that's the name you hear the most. I think the band even tweeted it once (although it was for a trend on twitter) so it's kinda acknowledged by them I guess... But if you wanna call yourself a Xylobryte or a Car Kid, that's good too. I don't think there's any rule or something but I prefer Coldplayer :)
