Locals who have suffered years of the couple’s extensive building work were delighted last night. Hollywood star Gwyneth, 41, and Coldplay singer Chris, 36, paid £2.5m 10 years ago to buy the home in Belsize Park, north London, from actress Kate Winslet, 38. They then snapped up the *property next door for £3.1m and joined them together, *followed by the house on the other side to create a 33-room mansion. One long-suffering neighbour said: “We have had years of their building works. They have taken down trees so they can park their flash cars in the driveway and they put a huge swimming pool in the back garden.” Another neighbour moaned: “The trouble is that it will probably be a similar sort that moves in and we’ll have this all over again.” A source close to the couple said they were looking to buy a smaller property elsewhere in the area to use a London base. Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘Miserable’ Husband Chris Martin Desperate To Move Back To London Gwyneth Paltrow‘s husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, has been miserable since the couple moved from London to Los Angeles so that the Goop founder could be closer to her friends and family, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. “Chris has told Gwyneth he wants to move back to his native England with their two children, Apple and Moses, once the school year is over,” a source close to the couple told Radar. “He hasn’t been happy living in Los Angeles because Chris just isn’t into the Hollywood scene. After the disturbing footage of the near-crash hit the web, it emerged that Paltrow didn’t even have a California Motorcycle Drivers’ License. Nearly a week after the incident, she reportedly passed the test to get her license for the motorcycle. In the March issue of Vanity Fair, the magazine’s editor, Graydon Carter compared Gwyneth to North Korea’s notorious dictator, Kim Jong-un. Carter said the story idea came up with no specific agenda, simply looking to encapsulate public’s “passionate opinions” regarding the second-generation actress.
