It's top 10 in all but one of the major nations for itunes

According to coldplayzone.it, the Radio Edit of Magic will last 4 minutes and 16 seconds.

Same here! I definitely disliked it at first but now its amazing. Also I don't think the song is mainstream/radio friendly at all.

0k, not one of my favourite Coldplay songs but it has me addicted. It's sounding in my head all the time even not listening to it for a couple of days... The "Call it magic" the "And I don't, and I don't, and I don't...", it has an Up in Flames vibe, but the difference is that I didn't like UIF quite much and at least I like Magic.

Midnight sounds totally diffrent then there previous work and sounds really nice.

Now 'Magic' really diffrent then 'Midnight' but i also like that track. So glad they go back to what they do best.

They should have chosen this for the main cover.

When it's clearly inspired by Magic? I disagree.

Great song - loved the bass and drums from the outset. I don't like the vocals in the verse...it's a little too loud-talking-like for me. But the choruses really get me. There's this weirdly vague R&B inspiration and I like it!

I wish Jonny's parts were louder and longer though. Trade that quiet outro for more guitar solo. </3

I totally agree. Every time I listen to this song I think "Oh man this will be amazing when Jonnys part comes" and it is, but it is so short, I wish it would be more intense and longer.

The R & B part reminds me a little bit of Alicia Keys...:D

Maybe one another song will finish with a long loud and intense solo... dreams come true.

It plays on a constant loop in my head. I love it

Yes!! repeat repeat repeat repeat!

The song is okay... Of course I'm excited because its a new coldplay release and it has its moments but to say its more than average... I dont know... Yes its on repeat in my head but would it be a song by anyone else I wouldnt have played it a third time... Although I must say its a nice change to the big big big mx

I've had it on repeat for a couple of days now and it gets better every time! What baffles me is why it took me a lot longer to appreciate and understand the song. I loved midnight instantly but this was a very different experience.

I hope others who dismissed it early on like me give it a few more listens and I'm sure they'll fall in love.

I really like the song, really hope they do a great live version like Paradise was also less produced live. I hope Chris plays the piano and then transitions to acoustic during the song (:

I had a similar experience with the song. This is the first time that my excitement quickly faded after I listened to the first single of a Coldplay album. I began to look for answers because I've waited for the album patiently. Is it because it's not a stadium-built song? Is it because of too much R&B influence when I was expecting a rockier sound?

There are a lot of questions inside my head... But after that I gave the song a listen and every time it plays it grows in me... I still prefer Midnight but Magic is fine I guess. :) I hope the song will do "magic" after a while.

I think it deserves the three Rolling Stone gave it. I mean, three is decent and for me, Magic is decent. Midnight is a solid four. Hopefully, this is just a Coldplay putting out its most commercial song out.
