Yeah, I thought he would have been, but it actually wasn't that hot in there (not like some of the other venues I've been to). It was pretty comfortable. Well, down where I was it was warm, but that was because I had all these people smushing me and I oculdn't breathe :laugh4: oy vey. I know when the gig started he came out and was like.... pulling it up..... and I saw a lot of Julian... :wideeyed: oh lord. But yeah, I don't think he had anything on under it? haha

Nope, I only found the Julian pictures. Then again, I randomly happened upon them in a Julian community, so I'm in the process of trying to find others. But I have a feeling, due to the fact that security was so militant (bad) and really had an eye out, she only took Jules ones.

 

All the other guys looked really great, and oh man I could have gotten so many incredible shots of Nick, him in the light.. it was just perfect... FUCK. LUPOS. :laugh4: ugh! I'll post any that I find ;) I hope there's more!

It was really insane, really really insane. When he came down I literally was fearing for my life. I thought I was going to be like Steph at her Arctics gig, and have to get pulled out! It huuuuurt in there :stunned: But I was so into the music I literally didn't feel anything, no joke. It was like that at Oxegen festival, and it's why I love them so much. They have such power and just..... an insane coolness factor that numbs everything else out of you. I know at Oxegen I felt like shit (hadn't eaten in over a day, nothing to drink, freezing cold, it was a mess lmfao), and the second they came on I just.... went off somewhere else. It was awesome.

 

But I really did realize that it was pretty insane whenever Julian came around. I think I grabbed him half for protection cuz people were pulling at me. LMFAO aw man haha

I really am a flirt, I've gotten kind of crazy lately. This is what happens when you're 18 and never had a boyfriend... :laugh4: I was so hitting on him at the gig, since he was standing in front of me waiting for first the opening act, then Ze Strokez to come on. My withdrawal is pretty....... I mean, I'm ok. I think it was really surreal so I'm just like very :stunned: about it whenever I think back to it. They're really the only band I feel like seeing right now. I miss them!! But I have their music, and I have youtube, so I'm doing ok. Seeing these pictures though... wow. I don't feel any sadness that it's over and they're not coming back (I saw them 3 times in like... 3 months, that's pretty good!). It's more like "wow, that was incredible, and next time whenever that is will be incredible too!"

Oh wow...I haven't been here in over a month! That's nuts. Okay so anyways...

 

I saw the Strokes open for Tom Petty about a month ago. I think I was one of the youngest people there, and I was the only one around my area (with the exception of two 17 year old boys) dancing and singing along...everyone else was older folks who had never heard of the Strokes. It was pretty funny.

Haha, yeah a friend of mine saw them open for him and she said a ton of people didn't even stay to see them play, so she got to be right up front for that. Pretty lucky, but foolish Petty fans tsk tsk tsk

I thought it was a bizarre idea for the boys to open for Petty. A great one because it shows some of the older folk new music, and the younger ones that attended, it introduces them to Petty's music.
