I think you're right Chris is singing "I'll always". The first couple lines after the OOhhs is pretty unclear, don't think it will be clear until we can hear another version, of course the lyrics might be a bit different in the studio version

First after hearing the studio version, I just assumed Chris forgot that particular line back in September during the debut at the central park show and thus sang "Sat on a roof" for the second time. But then i realized he also sang "Sat on a roof" (instead of "hope has it's proof") when recently performing it ad TIDAL X as well as in that TF1 show. Since the album version was most certainly recorded before all those shows, I guess he might go on singing live "Sat on a roof" in the future...

What I hear that is different from the posted lyrics is really only this line for me: Hope has its proof Your hand in my hands However one can easily hear "sometimes" instead of "of times" here also to my ears: Can the Birds in poetry chime? can there be breaks in the chaos of times/sometimes?
December 31, 201510 yr I was comparing the official lyrics with those of Empy in post #11, that's why I had made those bold/underline marks. On the official lyrics it is "sometimes" but I like "in the chaos of times" even more. I guess I'm just nitpicking. :)

I guess I'm just nitpicking. :) I'm just so used to "chaos of times" now, although "chaos sometimes" is good as well - makes it more melancholic and nostalgic rather than straight up almost desperate
