So I heard towards the end of the interview that Chris mentioned about writing a song for Kylie Minogue on 'Every Day's Like Christmas' and her album will be released on 13 November 2015 and I would love to hear it probably in a few days :)

yessssss I really liked it too. He was looking at Jonny most of the interview which is very rare interviews in nowadays :awesome:

 

I actually liked this one, not so repetitive & the interviewer seemed nice & spoke mainly about music, not gossip or trivial stuff :wacky: he also seemed genuinely interested about the band, not just doing his job. More of this please..

Chris mentioning The Stones and The Clash as big influences on the band made me really happy. Everyone is going on about how they're influenced by pop now, but clearly they are still influenced by the music they grew up with. Personally, I'd love to hear Coldplay due some Clash style numbers in the future. Something that sounds like "Straight To Hell" (though obviously with more Chris appropriate lyrics) would be really cool I think and maybe actually work with AOAL type stuff.

 

Also loved when he made sure everyone knew he had his Oasis history right, making sure to mention Noel changing "Rain" to "Oasis". :laugh3:
