If the roof will be closed at least we won't get wet, always see the good side;)

This arena is still a stadium, the roof is 54 meters high and there is enough space for fireworks!

U2, Robbie Williams, ACDC and many more have been there before with fireworks, even if it is adapted to the construction!

so what about a fan meet-up after the show?

Fireworks inside is not a problem. But Coldplay also have huge fireworks outside above the roof. Not that good when the roof is closed. Anyway, weather could be better indeed. However, I live in Münster, about an hour train ride north of Gelsenkirchen. The weather forecast predicted thunderstorms for a period of four days. We had one very light thunderstorm yesterday. So maybe we are lucky.

The Veltins Arena just posted on Facebook that the roof will definitely be closed. So no rain caps or boots necessary (except for the journey to the stadium).

In case you have plans to queue early, its probably a good idea to bring an umbrella.
