this is a wonderful survey on overall tour performance of coldplay. some interesting facts:

  • most played at city: london
  • most played at country: usa
  • total number of concerts considered up to now: 665
  • the most a person has paid for a touted ticket: €1460.90
  • biggest attendance in one city in one tour: london / june 2012 (173,596) - sure to be topped next summer
  • most streamed song on spotify: asfos, followed by magic. both with 200 mil +
  • and the 20 most used words in ahfod era are pretty insightful too

there are plenty more, if you are interested.

Cool website!

Guys.....there have been...wait for it....42 concerts in London...

Oh and out of the billions of streams on Spotify, I am willing to bet that I account for at least 25% of those haha

Wow! That's really interesting. The most used words are all taken from the lyrics, though. So I'm not sure if that's accurate :P

Wow, so cool, our stat ppl must be loving this!

Cool find, thank you! :)

I love silly statistics that take you nowhere really, but still satisfy a strange need you never knew you had.

I recently compiled stats for the Coldplay shows I've been to (I clearly had too much time on my hands and things to avoid). So now I know that I've been to 20 concerts in 2 countries, in 10 different cities and 17 venues. They played 363 songs in total, 81 different songs overall. Most songs (26%) were from AROBTTH, Clocks being the most played one (at all the shows), followed by GPASUYF, The Scientist and Yellow (all 18x). Longest setlist had 24 songs, the shortest just 11. Biggest show was London Emirates Stadium (ca. 60,000) and the smallest the London gig in front of the BBC building (ca. 600).

Yeah, I know...nobody ever wanted to know that. :D We should make a stats corner, so we can be nerdy together. I'd love to hear more!

Oh great, this is very interesting ! :cheesy:

I love reading (Coldplay)facts:idea2:

Cool site!

Pleased to see ASFOS is the most played song. Its also one of my absolute favourites. And the most used words say a lot about Coldplay in general! :daisy:

:surprised: I love that kind of stats

I wish they would update it with the new US dates

Now the biggest attendance in a city during tour must be Mexico City, with these numbers:

62 404 - April 15th

65 337 - April 16th

67 451 - April 17th

195 192 people attending in total in Mexico City :D

Great! But, I think it'll change when they'll perform at Wembley Stadium as they have 4 dates there.

Yes so do I! And luckily I'm gonna be there! :D
