Well done I thought of you when Brazil scored...

Ronilidino is the worlds best player.... he is in a leauge of pele and maradona and I think he will supass both of their achivements... he is so pleasing to the eye to watch play... god has given him a talent no other player will achive in our lieftimes ever !

Ronaldinho must be about 26 now, Pele had scored 2 goals in the world cup final (Which Brazil won of course) when he was 9 years younger. And of course then went on to become the only player ever to score 1,000 goals in his career.

 

I know I know, Ronaldinho isnt a goalscorer as much as he is a playmaker, but Pele was better at being both. In 4 years time Ronaldinho will be going on the downside of his peak, and he has a lot of catching up to do if he wants to be known as the greatest player of all time.

 

It just aint going to happen. Fantastic player though, no doubt.

don't forget that football became faster and harder and only with talent you won't be a good player, also it's much harder to score goals nowadays, football became more tactical game.

 

70% of physical and 30% of technical abilities = good player. if we compare it with the 60s, the numbers would be different 50-50 or even 40-60 maybe. i think it's ridiculous to compare Ronaldinho and Pele, different times, different football. but i'd say i'm not sure Pele would be a world-class player if he'd play nowadays, physically he was worse than Ronnie now. technically i'd say they would be at the same level. if i have to choose between 2 i say Ronaldinho, physically and technically he is the best player for me at the moment

I know what you mean, actually I was thinking about the same thing and analysing it after I wrote it.

 

It would be interesting to see Ronaldinho playing in the 60's or 70's when the game wasnt so tight.

hmmm, yes that would be interesting, i think he wouldn't be worse, but we wouldn't see his tricks.

 

actually in the technical way it's getting easier to make tricks, score wonderful goals and stuff like that and all this thanks to the super newest boots, balls etc.

the conditions chnaged a lot

 

i have to admit it was much harder to play those years. none had shoes like today and the balls were completely different. it was a different game in some ways

 

but Pele is still one of the best in the world history of football, but talents like Ronaldinho don't born every day either ;)
