March 11, 200719 yr I finally found a thread about them. I love them so much. oh this thread is from 2004 and have only 4 pages? They deserve more pages people, c'mon listen them, they are brilliant. ;)
March 11, 200719 yr I shall look to see if there are any other Jet related threads in this section. Edit - Nope.
March 14, 200719 yr I find them like Led Zeppelin, and i like LZ a lot. ;) Shine On lyrics ^I think that's one of their best songs atm. So sweet one.
March 16, 200719 yr I enjoy Jet but they aren't that original. A band doesn't have to be 'original' to be good.
March 16, 200719 yr Some pictures my mate took of last week's gig in Pompey. (He was brave and got to front row, where I was chicken and when to the seats)
March 16, 200719 yr Some pictures my mate took of last week's gig in Pompey. (He was brave and got to front row, where I was chicken and when to the seats) Thanks a lot. You were in the concert? Lucky guy. ;)
March 16, 200719 yr I don't know very good how the youtube works but... it seems that they are registered there.... http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jetband any of you knew it? :surprised:
March 16, 200719 yr Love the Shine On album at the moment. The only previous song I Knew was Look what You've Done, then a couple of weeks ago I saw Shine On on tv and loved it straight away. So went and got hold of the album and it's great. Oasis sort of style which is probably why I love it.
July 19, 200916 yr really? :surprised:  why i didn't knew about it before? :shame: JET will release its new album, Shaka Rock, August 25, via the band’s Real Horrorshow Records through Five Seven Music with worldwide distribution through EMI Music. The Australian group has also annonuced a two-week tour of North America in support of the release of the disc. The tour will kick off July 4, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and wrap July 19, in Denver, Colorado. “I can say that the band is thrilled with Shaka Rock in every conceivable way,” JET’s Chris Cester said. “We’ve had a don’t think twice attitude throughout the making of this record which continues as we get ready to release it. I think Shaka Rock is like when TV went color. It’s our musical equivalent. There are moments on this record that are just pure… and moments that just rock harder than we ever have before.” The itinerary for JET’s July tour of North America follows: July 4 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Summerfest) July 5 - Chicago, IL (Double Door) July 6 - Toronto, ON (The Mod Club) July 8 - New York, NY (Gramercy Theatre) July 10 - Boston, MA (The Paradise) July 11 - Atlantic City, NJ (The Music Box) July 13 - Council Bluffs, IA (The Stir Concert Cove) July 15 - Las Vegas, NV (Wasted Space) July 16 - Los Angeles, CA (The Key Club) July 17 - Anaheim, CA (House of Blues) July 19 - Denver, CO (Mile High Music Festival)
July 20, 200916 yr are they still popular in the northern hemisphere? although i cant speak for everyone down here, their relevance in australia has almost completely diminished in the last 2yrs or so. its gonna take a brilliant album to get them back to their old glory days (or day) and going by this first single, dont really see that happening. but as always i would love to be proven wrong.
July 20, 200916 yr Yeah, I have not heard a thing from this band in a long time. Not a big fan, but I never gave them much of a chance. I just remembering hearing so much about them and then nothing at all.
July 20, 200916 yr nic (the singer) had voice or health problems so they had to cancell half their tour i think  so is the single already released?
August 2, 200916 yr I just came back from seeing Jet live. I won the tickets earlier by entering a lucky draw off channel [V] website.. Thought of sharing photos for those who are interested ;) The banner: My friend and I while waiting for the door to open...Excuse this personal photo..I really love it that I can't help but put it up here :P The opening act, The Scare. They're pretty good live.. The vox singing in the middle of the crowd...Wicked :P Then JET ;)
