haha i'm sorry, i mean i like the album and agree that it blows OBTN away. theres a ton of good moments on here, but i get the feeling that this album was rushed. there's too many bits in the songs that sound like they've been done before (in the same album no less). for example, the end and the face sound way too alike and definitely could've been left off the album. i'll say it again, the one this this album needs a raw, down-and-dirty rocker. but hey, what do i know? this is why they're making millions and i'm not.

Nah I reckon you make a couple of valid points. Whilst it's a good album they could have pushed it to the next level with a bit more time. and I'm all for the down and dirty rocker inclusion!

I can't tell you how they're live, never had the chance to catch them live (yet)... As far as I red on this board and elsewhere: the music is good but they're pretty 'cold' with the audience...meaning no much talk, no need to say no banters, no smile...but musically speaking, all good.

 

Maybe you can watch some vids of their gig at the O2 on youtube and see if this is something you might like? :shrug:

 

 

As for me, I've started reading the biography and so far, so good :) It's a nice mix between storytelling and bits of the boys ITVs.

Mhmm, hard to say what advice to give you.

I've seen them live and it was great hearing songs like "Milk" live and they're good live.

But what Aurélie said is true - You actually won't get more than hearing the songs live, maybe not even a "hi" from them... and for that 74€ is a lot!

 

I didn't even pay half of this last year if I remember correctly!

 

EDIT: Just checked because I was curious now... I paid 43€ including all fees.

Yep, you should :whip: but you'll see, especially the first two, it's quite different. The sound is more rough and Caleb mutters lyrics.

 

Very nice ITV in four parts of the boys, you can see them hanging out at home, and play a secret gig. It's nice to see them chilling, just like in the home movies :D (bigLOL @Jared's playlist... :laugh3:)

oh yes it does :awesome: The only two song that are 'less good' to me are 'no money' and 'my amigo' (this one could have been a b-side IMO). As for the stand out, I'm staying on PONY UP :awesome: , Pick up truck, Back down south, The Immortals, Pyro, The end, Beach side, Birthday...(well, the whole album :D )

I bought it last week and have been listening to it recently. Still a little too new to form an opinion, but so far so good :thumbsup: I know I've said it before, but I think the Immortals is a great song. I saw it live and was blown away. Big chorus (I know old school fans hate it) and good lyrics. It's a win to me.

haha nice. i love hearing how some artists get inspiration for songs. pretty cool, and def one of the better songs on the album.

 

speaking of the album, it has really grown on me. pyro and the immortals really get to me. but there is the other half of me that wishes they would just burn the motherf***er down like i know they're more than capable of doing (i.e. Black Thumbnail).
