haha, well good for you! they've been to australia few times but all times i've missed them because at the time i didn't know what or who they were. but as soon as their are dates and venues ... i'm there! :D

well they were here last year, the year before, and the year before that so i think there is a big chance it could happen again. right now they finished touring the states, and it looks like the winter/spring period could be a likely time [if it actually goes through] so yeah :)

 

if they do come, meeting up with fellow coldplayers would be awesome, great idea! that would be fun, and a friend of mine from the states will be visiting, and i just got him into them so if time allows, we'll all have a fantastic time! fingers crossed :D :nice:

i definitely wouldn't count it out Annie, i think they've grown fond of Australia [i hope] to return again, they just have tooooooo, and going by their actions in the past, they are due for a trip down under. fingers still crossed.

sigur rós have finished mixing their long-awaited orchestral work odin’s raven magic and hope to release it on cd and dvd early in the autumn. the work, written and debuted in 2002, is based on the 14th century icelandic poem about a great banquet held by the gods in valhalla. sigur rós is interested in involving the fans in the cd’s artwork and have requested fans to send in their own cover image for the cd. the best cover image as judged by the band will be used on the upcoming cd release of odin’s raven magic. the format and content of the cover image will be mostly up to you but it must coincide with the poem’s theme of elfin magic and must contain at least one nordic troll and two dwarves. please send in submissions to [email protected] before wednesday, april 4th.
