^nope, apparently none of the tracks are sung in english. hope this extract helps: :nice:

aw Nadia, i was going to get in line but we understand, your heart was in the right place though :)

aw wow, nice shirt Will!!! :P :D (we need to do some syncronised listening of mew and sigur ros albums again, that was heaps of fun ) i'm not a big poster collector, but recently i can't help myself. imagine my surprise when i saw the sigur ros poster :stunned: i couldn't believe it, and out of nowhere too. i was still on a high and hopeful of a mew poster too, but then reality shot in. my search continues....!

Thanks starkay... I'll review that extract. :)... Bye there.

do you know where i can find some bootlegs?

Go to dimeadozen.org they have plenty.. Kind of tricky to get in though, but just keep refreshing the sign up page for a couple of minutes and eventually there'll be free spots to fill!

nav_leaf.gif kjartan and maría graduate

19 May 2007

earlier this month kjartan and his wife maría got their BA degrees from the the music department of the iceland academy of the arts. over the past few years the couple has been making time in between their work with sigur rós and amiina to hit the books and take exams in the university’s music composition / new media program. kjartan’s final project was a piece called credo, written for a 40-piece ensemble of choir, strings and piano. according to kjartan, the piece “includes themes that have been heard in past sigur rós material, and themes that will be heard in future sigur rós material”. maría’s final project was a piece called þorri, written for strings, saw and marimba.

in an interview in today’s morgunblaðið, the couple says that university has been an enriching experience but they are glad to now have more free time to write new music.

yay congrats to both
