That last 2 anon comments sound pretty fake to me, as they are just a rephrasing of known stuff. Plus, the Tidal vs. Apple debate doesn't sound believable, as has already been pointed out. On the Global Citizen thing: I know I will make myself unpopular with this opinion, but nevertheless......all these super-rich celebrities campaigning for "good causes" always have a negative taste for me. If they truly meant to reduce poverty etc., one of the first steps would be to separate from the enormous sums they possess and will never even need in their lives and start living like a normal upper-/middle-class citizen. Because it it this imbalance of income and posessions between people like them and the rest of the world that is a basis of poverty, too. Their huge profits are possible due to a system that is based on global social inequality as well as exploitation. It would not work on an equal basis, and they have all capitalized on that. If Chris Martin were as truly committed to ending extreme poverty as he tries to make everyone believe, the first step would be to renounce on a large part of his fortune. And this is true for any other of these anti-poverty celebs too. If he would do that and then go on campagining, I would truly believe his intentions. But now it sounds just like someone tries to ease his conscience and show the world what a good guy he is (i. e. PR). There is my comment, now "I don't care, go on and tear me apart" :P

That reminds me of a particular time in my life. I was in the labs and for some experiments had to get out very early, so I was alone in the lab. The radio was on and there was this one song on the radio when it came, I would turn up the volume and feel this will be a good day. And that was long before I had ever heard the name Coldplay !! (It was VLV, by the way)

According to recent rumors from a source close to the band, the album will not be called AHFOD, which was just a decoy name. It will be called "A Flush of Mud to the Toilead". The first single will feature backing vocals from Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, a hip hop beat, Guy/Jonny/Will forming a dancing group around Chris who will sing gangsta-rap lyrics. It will be called "In your face".

This is a personal opinion, but....modern commercial music to me was for the greatest part (with a few exceptions, of course) generic, dull, in many cases feels "cheap" and made without meaning, atmosphere, true emotion, original melodies. Then I got to know Coldplay, and their music (EPs + first 3/4 albums, I mean now) was a revelation for me. Because it was the complete opposite of what I despised in modern music. But since MX, I see them becoming exactly that what they were not, too mainstream, too generic... SO GS wanted to convey the emotions of a man with a broken heart ? It failed to do so, imho ! Compare it with AROBTTH, which has 100x more emotion in it and still gives goosebumps with every listen. AROBTTH feels authentic, GS feels generic. Why, coldplay, why ?? And thus Miracles is part of a downward trend for me, and I fear Lp7 will be in the same stylistic direction....
