  1. I find Macs easier and better to use. My MacBook hasn't crashed once in two years and I use it every day. It's definitely worth the money. Having said that you can get decent Windows laptops but you definitely can't get them for £400.
  2. Aww he sounds lovely! Glad things are going well :nice: Keep us updated
  3. I live there Have you ever stolen anything?
  4. today, in preparation for my essay ... you were scared?
  5. Yes Have you ever been to London?
  6. about two weeks ago ... you read a book?
  7. Why can't this essay just write itself so I can go out and have a good time? I hate being a student!
  8. I don't like it either.
  9. Happy belated birthday!!
  10. I'd probably go to a pub or a bar. It's always a little bit awkward if you don't know the person well and you'll probably be a bit more confident after a few drinks. Good luck, hope it goes well! :nice:
  11. I like older children better but I don't have a strong desire to have an older child either. I certainly don't want it enough to go through pregnancy and the first few years anyway. Plus I don't think it would be a good idea to have children if you know that you won't be able to look after them properly.
  12. I don't like either.
  13. I love Camden market. Hope you have a good time in London!
  14. Living in London kind of sucks if you're a poor student. It would be great if you had a lot of money but if you don't, you're probably better off in Manchester, Liverpool or Newcastle. I actually really like Newcastle. My ex-boyfriend was from Sunderland so I've been there quite a few times. It looks amazing, I'd love to go to Thailand.
  15. True but I think most people already feel like adults when decide to have children. (I'm not talking about unintended pregnancy obviously) A lot of my friends are a lot more mature then me. Many of them don't go out clubbing anymore, some of them have kids and quite a few want to have children and/ or get married in the next few years. I'm happy for them but at the same time I'm a bit upset because we'll probably never get to do all the cool things we wanted to do when we had no money.
  16. I don't know. I'm in my twenties and I don't live at home anymore. I might act like an adult in many situations but I still don't feel like a proper adult.
  17. My mum's the same. I love her to bits and I can kind of understand where's she's coming from but her comments are quite annoying. When I was a child, my parents used to make fun of people who have a dog 'instead of' children. I'm probably gonna be one of those people. I think I'd adopt if I wanted to have children. You can help a child and the thought of pregnancy and childbirth absolutely terrifies me. It's not the reason why I don't want to have kids though.
  18. Been thinking about this recently as more and more people I know are having children. Personally I can't really imagine having kids. I feel really awkward around babies and toddlers. I don't like it if a friend or a family member leaves their child with me (even if it's just for a few minutes) because I'm scared that I'm gonna do something wrong that might put them in danger. When someone brings their child into work/ shows pictures of their child I often feel like I have to pretend that I like babies but I just don't find them cute and I'm not really interested. I almost feel guilty for not liking them but I just can't help it. I do find many of them cute when they're a bit older though and I generally like older kids. Some of my friends think this is gonna change one day and that I'll want to have children at some point but really can't see it happening.
  19. I've finally finished my essay.
  20. Same. I was brought up as a Christian and I believe in God but I don't go to church very often.
