The greatest
can i volunteer to just be a roadie (then again is that even possible for a video???)? cos it's a really brilliant idea, but i can't really sing & i can't really play any instrument either... :p

How many offical cd's of Coldplay do you have?
darnit...i was SO close to getting a promo copy of the Blue Room EP for US$5 only!!! & then i got seriously outbid for it in the closing hours of the auction (still on & it's right now at US$50 :sweatdrop: )...which is the bit i hate about buying stuff on eBay...oh, well. saves me spending money this round. heh does anyone have an updated list of the going rates for Coldplay's CD releases? i think it'd be a great help since i don't really have much of a clue when i'm overpaying, like in the case of this auction. :\

the only thing i really remember from his songs is his use of "jigga wha" whatever that's supposed to mean... what irony that 2 of the bands i like (i.e. Linkin Park & Coldplay) like Jay-Z...but i don't. meh. oh, well...lesser of 2 evils to put up with. :p

Do any Coldplay fans actually GET Coldplay?
i don't think i "get" all of Coldplay songs but i do love their songs, especially Fix You, The Scientist & Viva La Vida (the ones i do "get"...off the top of my head). & i'm the kind of person who likes to know what a song's lyrics mean...hence i'm usually lurking around on songmeanings.net reading up others' interpretations of song lyrics. just to see if they match up to my own take on it. tho i am also willing to admit that some songs just defy being pigeon holed into a specific theme/story i.e. Yellow...yes, it's about love & devotion, but what in the world is the significance of the colour or lyrics like "I drew a line / I drew a line for you / & all the things that you do"...cos that's not really much of a winner as far as pick up lines go. ;) anyhoo, i think in general, the songs on their earlier albums were more apparent in the lyrics' meaning/themes. but for Viva La Vida & Prospekts' March, the songs' lyrics are more ambiguous & hence more open to different interpretations depending on how one looks at it.

haha...me too, mate  i don't mind the flight from Malaysia (sometimes Singapore) to London myself...13hrs non-stop of catching up with the latest movies & little sleep in between in a nonsensical attempt to adjust myself quick-ish to the time difference. :dozey: but out of curiousity, cos i've not done the Kangaroo Route myself, how long's your flight gonna be?

Chris Martin's bracelets ?
ermmm...y'know, i somehow don't recall there ever being any option to choose the size when ordering. that said, mine fit fine on my wrists, but most are a tight squeeze while the bigger ones (which seem to be the blue ones in my multicolour order) are a good size. i find putting on some moisturiser beforehand helps slip the tighters ones in a bit easier tho.

Dan did it again!
woohoo!!! you go, girl!!! :D i can't imagine even coming anywhere close to the boys' timings! :sweatdrop: based on my excessively crap timings from the laps we had to run around the field back in secondary school...& that's considering i was in peak physical/athletic condition then (compared to my current sloth-y self :P ). btw, based on this resolution, i take it all's gone well for your plan to stay on in London after the Wembley gigs? :D:D:D

Tapulous To Release Coldplay Edition Of Tap Tap Revenge Next Week
i use my 2nd, 3rd & 4th fingers...technically. it all goes to hell on the Hard mode songs onwards. my fingers are all over the place then & it looks + feels like i'm just doing a mess of random taps on the screen. :disappointed:

WE'VE FOUND THE BAKERY!! *NOW WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF* UPDATED FIRST POST!*
or maybe he's just being nice & playing up the PR by saying he visits the site regularly... or he maybe saw this thread but somehow thought it wasn't the right area...tho i think this isn't likely since there's even a Google Maps image on the 1st page. if the striking purple bistro isn't enough of a hint that the location's been found by you super sleuths. btw, excessively random thought...since Chris is a big Sherlock Holmes fan, wouldn't he be proud of your sleuthing skills? :p

hmmm...in a bit of a pickle on how early i should be planning to go to Wembley. looks like i'm going to be queueing twice...unless there's no queue at all at the Box Office on show day. i somehow doubt that. called Ticketmaster in UK in the end, cos they don't seem to have an email contact, to ask about the possibility of mailing my ticket over to me instead. was advised that since i'm travelling over from overseas + they'll only mail (Standard Mail only to boot) to my billing address, it's best to just leave it as Box Office Collection. that & the fact that they don't reissue the General Admissions tickets if it somehow gets lost in the mail (i didn't know that! doh!).

The 2012 Motor Racing Thread (F1 & More)
yeah...well, now that we're down 3 races that seems to be the pattern. tho i recall that Vettel did well in the wet last year too...if i remember right. the boy's one to watch this season amongst the drivers. Button's been around a while, just that now he's finally got his big break with the Brawn car.

Campaign: to get Guy Berryman on Top Gear
it's about cars...cars...& more cars. preferably of the super fast, high powered, gas guzzling type. guy territory (pun intended). but it's pretty entertaining to watch even if you don't know squat about cars & motor racing. they do do stuff that don't get all technical about cars too. there was 1 episode i saw where they each took a different form of transport to see which one's the fastest getting thru London during peak rush hour. that was hilarious to watch. & there was another where Jeremy Clarkson was giving all sorts of really sarcastic comments about the eco-friendly Prius (it's not known to be an exceptionally fast car). i was all doubled up in laughter watching that.

Viva Cassette?
it's possible that it's official. says there in print on the front that it's only for sale in Indonesia (the bit that says "HANYA UNTUK DIJUAL DI INDONESIA") anyway, aside from the declaration that it's an "Indonesia Cassette". most developed parts/cities in Indonesia & Malaysia have long moved on to music CDs already, but some particularly those staying in rural regions still stick to the cassette format since they are much cheaper & no need to shell out for a "brand new" player. problem with these cassettes is that the film strip are very likely to go mouldy with time tho.

why stop at just 1? get all of them to be the baby's godfathers! :D i do hope you've got a good seated ticket tho...rather than trying to brave it out in the pit area. tho that'd be quite a shocker should the baby decide to pop out then right in the pit. ok...my meds-fueled imagination's running wild now...i'll stop.
