Aww, this sounds great. Hope it's true!

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
CD sales are down universally. People are much more apt to buying digital versions of physical copies. EDIT: I didn't see your post. My bad.

So, did he mean a slow tempo album, or a slow release?

The Walking Dead
Hold for a few episodes, Season 5 is incredible. Season 4 and 5 have really taken up a noticeable change in quality.

The Walking Dead
I always really enjoyed Lori and Andrea. They had their faults of course, but it's a shame they both died the way they did. :(

Radiohead
I remember first liking Creep from almost out of nowhere, and playing it around friends. Keep in mind, this was like 2011, so most people had already known this song. It was my first semester of college, and despite Mylo Xyloto releasing, I found myself listening to Radiohead more and more. When I discovered the god that is Idioteque, I even told myself, "This is college music." (Whatever the fuck that means.) I ended up buying The Best Of (I know, I know!) and pretty much only listened to that for a few months until I just got too tired of listening to it. So I took a break. Told myself my "Radiohead phase" was over. And it was, until early 2012. I'm not even sure what happened, but I got really interested in them and went full force into their discography. I took it album-by-album and before I knew it, was becoming obsessed with the band. In the period of about three years, I've switched favorite albums multiple times, but I feel incredibly confident that I'll never get over how incredible The Bends' b-sides are. Sort of like how Coldplay shaped my musical taste into alternative-only, Radiohead's shaped my musical taste into the experimental side and I love it. They aren't easy to get into, but when and if you do, it's like a journey that won't ever stop.

I loooove X&Y. My favorite album of theirs. But yeah, I can see why people might get bored of it.

iOS 8 or Android Lollipop
iOS 8. I've never enjoyed Android OS, but I get the appeal. For me, iOS is clean, tidy and easy-to-use, while Android is all over the place, unorganized and doesn't really look that clean-cut. Maybe it's because I'm a bit of a neat freak.

LP7 FACTS Thread - WE KNOW EVERYTHING NOV 6
Bridge Over You appears to be this. [video=youtube;ve1sevQpQLQ]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve1sevQpQLQ&spfreload=10 Drift is most likely one of their original songs recorded, seeing as the Work ID is all the way back in the 3's. In Isolation is most likely just as old. Julens Ljus brings zero results, but looks to be an older collaboration with Swedish singer Tommy Korberg. Papa is most definitely a collaboration performed by multiple artists. Part of the Plan uses X&Y (title track) as the melody for a rap song. Reprenons du Depart is a cover of The Scientist by Diane Tell. Shooting Star is basically the Chinese version of Yellow. [video=youtube;-5AA7zMOYyw] Should I Go uses the end of Clocks as a loop for a Brandy song. Sida Vid Sida is, well, I don't know. It's most likely either a cover of Viva La Vida, or samples it in some way. EDIT: I had to delete the other links due to a maximum of two videos per post.

LP7 FACTS Thread - WE KNOW EVERYTHING NOV 6
Ha, I thought the same! From what I remember someone else here saying, any song with a Work ID starting with 88 is from MX and beyond. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a Coldplay song, but rather releasing in that time frame. (But I could be wrong.)

LP7 FACTS Thread - WE KNOW EVERYTHING NOV 6
I know Deserter and Fingers Crossed are from the AROBTTH days. Autodance turned out to be another artist using a Coldplay song as the melody. Everything else? You're guess is as good as mine.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
The other night, I had a dream Chris released Track 1, and a B-side, from LP7. Track 1 had a long title like (the very awesome) Radio Dial - Waltz in B-Minor title. It sounded like the lovechild of Viva and MX, and it was the coolest sounding thing I've ever heard by them. There were fourteen tracks. And hilariously enough, I remember telling someone (???), "Wow, this B-side sounds like U2." Turns out it was. Gotta love my imagination playing tricks on me, hahaha. Haha. :smug: Ha. :mean:

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Nah, they don't do the same thing twice. I think it was either Will or Chris who said LP7 is far from Ghost Stories' sound, which to me, sounds like the quiet, EDM-like sound won't be around anymore.

"Miracles" new original song by Coldplay for movie "Unbroken"

2edgy4me Seriously though, stop trying to feel superior to everyone else buddy.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Yeah, I understand. It bothered me a lot on my first listen or so. I get Will loves his drum pad, but there aren't too many songs where they're used in that won't sound cheesy.

Atlas vs Miracles
I guess I'm the first one who prefers Miracles -- by far. Atlas has some good bits, don't get me wrong. The lyrics are a little better, it seems a bit more 'classic Coldplay' if you will, and does a good job of building up, but that's it for me. It's an incredibly average song by Coldplay's standards. Every time I have Coldplay on shuffle, I will skip Atlas the second I hear the piano start. Miracles just seems so full of life and happiness. I get both songs have two different ideas behind them, but something about Miracles just excites me to listen to. It makes me ecstatic for what's to come. Atlas couldn't do that for me. In fact, it scared me for how LP6 would sound. This one, however, makes me so excited for LP7. They seemed to have regained something gone since the Viva days, which is emotional contact on a layered level. That's the only thing that bothers me about Miracles at this point. They made clapping in Strawberry Swing sound so sexy and amazing. Here, it just sounds off putting. Luckily, it seems to get covered up quickly and I forget it's there after the opening.

The beginning of the song uses drum pads, but by the end/climax, it reverts back to real drums.

"Miracles" new original song by Coldplay for movie "Unbroken"
Couldn't have said it better myself. Atlas had similar energy to all of Ghost Stories, and it left amazingly underwhelmed. I can't plave what it is I dislike with Atlas, but it's average. Miracles, however, is the opposite. I fucking love it. It almost seems like an entirely different band now. The snaps and drumbeat at the beginning are pretty average/unneeded, but everything else is just so fun to listen to. Jonny has some superb work from beginning to end, and it feels great to have "real drums" back. I'm suddenly relieved for LP7.
