What is the most underrated Coldplay song and album? What about overrated?
Underrated song: Twisted Logic. I don't know if there is a song more ignored or pushed aside than Twisted Logic. With every other album closer, you hear about it all the time -- but with Twisted Logic? Nothing. It's an incredible song from beginning to end. Overrated song: Fix You. Maybe I just listened to it too much early on in becoming a fan, but the song is by far the weakest of their big hits, as far as I'm concerned. The climax is very good, and I'll give it that, but I can't tell you the last time I listened to the entirety of Fix You. Underrated album: X&Y, forever. I've talked about it often, but to me, this album just personifies what Coldplay is all about. It's without a doubt my favorite release Coldplay has ever put out, and in my top five albums of all-time. Overrated album: Viva La Vida. I almost hate to say it too, because Viva was the album that got me into Coldplay. (The day it released, nonetheless!) While I adore the experimental aspect of it, the beautiful artwork (my personal favorite in terms of covers) and how they managed to totally redefine themselves, I can never bring myself to listen to the entire album in one sitting. I don't know what it is. In pieces and bits, Viva manages to highly capture my attention, but it only takes about three songs before I have to skip around the rest of the album. (Ironically, with Mylo Xyloto, it is so much better as a whole than in separate pieces.) I suppose I just find X&Y and even Mylo to be a better a representation of the band than Viva, although I wouldn't mind more experimentation in the future.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
This is a really peculiar song. Musically, it's pretty good, buy lyrically? Weird as fuck.

The Walking Dead
I have the feeling 'A' stands for something much more than 'Alexandria'. At least, in a poetic sense. In The Scarlet Letter, the letter 'A' is stamped for 'adultery' as a way to shame the woman for what she's done. There's no doubt there's a thing between Rick and Jessie, and with Pete being the way he is, shit is probably going to hit the fan.

The Walking Dead
I looooved tonight's episode. Alexandria is proving to be so much better than how I expected it to be handled. There's so much to happen I can hardly contain my excitement, omg. This show is good.

[X10Y] Third album rumoured to be called 'Zero Theory'
I'm really curious to see what Coldplay does for Zero Theory. I'd love for them to expand on something like Daylight or A Whisper, but it probably won't happen. It sounds like they might even get a bit electronic! If that's the case, I hope LP4 is something like Parachutes at least.

The Walking Dead
HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK THE SAME.

The Walking Dead
Well, if we're talking about that, we have a ways to go. (Thank God, too.) Alexandria is very cool so far, but very polarizing to both the audience and characters. There are a handful of ways this season could end, but I'm hoping/praying it's not in the form of a bat.

Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers and Avicii collaborating for a new song
Yeah. I hate to be 'that guy', but Chris' evolution is really...interesting. I'm still not worried, because Chris doesn't equal Coldplay, but even then, I can't help feeling strange.

News roundup - new pilot show up
The advice I'm about to give is not meant to be anything but helpful. 1. Turn that music waaaay down. I genuinely cannot understand the vast majority of what you're saying from 1:20 and on. While background music is good, I'd pick something much more ambient or soothing to listen to. With an energetic song like Clocks, it's almost more distracting than how loud the music is right now. 2. The camera positioning is just awkward. I get what you're going for, but it sits at such an angle, most people would probably click out. It would be kind of neat if you had more than camera, though, and switched between shots ever so often. Obviously abusing it would be bad, but if edited correctly, could provide a more dynamic result. Also, if you can, try not to have it just on you the entire time if you can help it. For example, for the Radio Waltz bit, run a screenshot of the page it was found on, and keep it up for the intro of said segment. Usually, if people have things to look at, they're more apt to listen to the entire thing. 3. Lastly, look for a program that uses better graphics. I'm not an expert on this at all, but more interactive graphics would definitely make this go from looking like a computer class project to something of more noteworthy production. From the parts I did hear, you definitely have the right personality to run the show and you're easy to listen to. If you can fix the production side of things just a bit, I'm sure the end result will be satisfying.

Rate the latest movie you've seen
Right? But, since it's an American movie, it's main job is to give all of its fans a throbbing Patriotic Boner. The guy was pretty much an asshole who happened to be good at sniping. Woohoo.

Rumoured Coldplay live dates 2015-2016
I'm reading they're headlining for Friday. I guess Coldplay still has a bit of a chance? (Though I'm not totally counting on it.)

Better Call Saul
Especially Season 5B. It was just one dark scene after another.

Better Call Saul
Last night was terrific. The storytelling is just as great as Breaking Bad was. I can't wait to see Saul's descent.

Zane Lowe to leave BBC Radio 1, Annie Mac to replace him on the evening show
Having Zane lead something with iTunes Radio could be very good news. I like the guy as is, so I'm really excited to see what role he'll have. Who wants to bet Chris will be one of the first people interviewed?

Better Call Saul
Better Call Saul, the prequel to Breaking Bad (starring Saul Goodman), premiered last week! I had high expectations for the show -- but it's surpassed them more than I thought possible. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are just so damn good at what they do. Who else is watching?

The Walking Dead
Last week was one of the best of the show, in my opinion. They handled his death in a very beautiful way, albeit being very, very sad to see unfold. I'll miss Tyreese much more than Beth. The best part about the episode, I thought, was how we were thrown for a complete and total loop with the opening scene. Got us all. Last night was interesting. I really appreciated the aspect of connecting to just how depressed and lonely this world is. They haven't really touched on it this far before, so while it didn't turn out to be the best episode they've made, it was still pretty decent. Had two pretty big comic events happened at the end, I probably wouldn't have liked it at all. Rick's 'walking dead' speech caught me totally off guard, and the appearance of Aaron at the end! I'm so happy he's finally in the show.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I actually thought Miracles was a huge step up in quality from anything on Ghost Stories.

Chris Martin to perform with Beck at 2015 Grammys
That just made me smile. This colab is going to be amazing.
-
LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
That modular bit sounded nice, but last time he posted something like that everyone also thought it might be on Ghost Stories. Turns out it was just him messing around. I wouldn't be too worried!

Your "First awaited release after becoming a fan"
I became a fan around Viva's release, so while I got to experience the entirety of the era, I still missed a lot more than I realized. Mylo Xyloto was the first I followed from Coldplay and it was just incredible. I loved every second leading up to it. Especially the threads on here! Nothing will ever beat the, "When will it leak?" threads, or when that one guy discovered Mylo Xyloto will be the name of the album. Just nothing but all-around fun. I've been waiting for Radiohead's ninth album for fucking forever now, so I'm sure whenever they even just announce something I'll go nuts. Can't wait to experience the whole ~journey~ I've heard so much about before!

Confirmed - Coldplay to Perform for Music Company "Why Not People?"
Is there a particular date/timeframe for this yet?
