  1. According to Wikipedia the capacity of the venue in Cologne is only 20.000 during concerts. But the capacity of Ahoy is 15.000, so even less than in Germany.
  2. If you look at the German show I noticed the prize differences between seating tickets and floor tickets. Because I'm also buying tickets for my friends tomorrow, does anybody know what the prices will be for floor tickets in Ahoy?
  3. I never really got it why that was. I was in front row and it seemed like me and my friends were the only ones who really enthusiastic. Hope it will be better in Ahoy.
  4. Violet Hill is my absolute favorite of LP4. It has such dark, raw feeling which I absolutely love. I think it's way better than Viva La Vida, which I only really enjoy played live.
  5. I was at both of the gigs (Goffertpark and Werchter this year). The atmosphere at Werchter was way better then in Nijmegen (and there I stood at the front row!). I always thought this was because the Goffertpark was a little too big, for what I heard it wasn't even completely sold out. I think the gig in Ahoy will have a great atmosphere because the venue is much smaller and therefore I expect a show for only true Coldplay fans. For example the tickets for the RHCP show in Ahoy next month were sold out in only 5 minutes!
  6. Checked the Livenation website. Tickets will cost €64,90. I cannot find if that's the price for tickets on the floor (where we wanna be of course) or at the stands. Someone got's more info on this?
  7. Let's give it a try. 1. Life In Techincolor 2. Violet Hill 3. Yellow 4. In My Place 5. Everything's Not Lost 6. Shiver 7. Clocks 8. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 9. Politik 10. Amsterdam 11. Lovers In Japan 12. Trouble 13. The Scientist 14. Fix You A lot of piano driven ballads I see. Well, they're just my favorite songs.
  8. Oh yeah the song has grown. I remember after my first listen the first thing that crossed my mind was 'wtf?!. Now I can appreciate the song a bit more, but I still think it's one of the weakest Coldplay songs I've heard.
  9. 1. Charlie Brown 2. Hurts Like Heaven 3. Moving To Mars 4. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall 5. Us Against The World 6. Major Minus 7. Paradise
  10. The december tour will be a short one, the big World Tour will start in 2012. Just so excited to see them coming back to Holland! And maybe I'll go to the Belgian show too!
  11. Great news to start the day with. For sure I'll be ready next Thursday at 08.45 am to buy tickets!
  12. R23 replied to DukeNewcomb's topic in Paradise
Now I say ETIAW, but like coldplayman232, I also was disappointed in that song at first. Now I actually like it (from the moment I saw them playing it live at Werchter festival), so let's give Paradise a chance.
  13. What's the source for this schedule?
  14. I'm a big tv shows addict. Saw all the seasons of shows like Lost, Prison Break and Dexter. But also comedy's like HIMYM, Friends, Chuck and Modern Family. Currently I'm watching The Big Bang Theory! Just started on season 3.
  15. Coldplay Hurts Muse Foo Fighters Arctic Monkeys
  16. Hurts - Evelyn
  17. Great photo's! You and me were almost in the same position as I see your pics. Thanks for sharing!
  18. Bizar snel voorbij gegaan. Ik heb me maanden zitten verheugen op Werchter en het is echt in één klap voorbij gegaan. Idd tijd voor snel een nieuwe tour!
  19. Visited a HP Marathon in a cinema in Amsterdam last Tuesday/Wednesday. We started at 00.30 am with The Philosopher's Stone and went on till Wednesday 00.30 am with the première of The Deathly Hallows 2. It was really exciting to see al those movies again in the theatre. It sometimes really felt as if my childhood was flashing by. In total we saw the 8 films in almost 26 hours. I must say I was really impressed by part 2. The effects were stunning and I was really happy by the way they managed to put the main events of the novel on to the screen. I managed to stay awake almost the whole time the marathon lasted and it was a great way to finish 10 years of Harry Potter madness. I must confess I will miss it.
  20. With the good ones on my shoulders, I drove the other ones away..
  21. En welke show(s) hebben de Nederlandse en Belgische Coldplayers gezien recentelijk? Ikzelf heb ze weer aan het werk mogen zien op Werchter 2 weken geleden. Het was weer genieten!
  22. Not many of you seem to think that ETIAW will make it on LP5. But why would they ignore a song which already is a hit in many countries for the new record? On topic. I really hope for HLH and Charlie Brown. I'm not really sure yet about PoC. Have to wait for a good quality version of the track.
  23. Think it's an interesting new song. Hope to hear a high quality version of it soon. But secretly I also love the 'mystery' around this track, since it was only played at 2 not pro shot filmed concerts.
  24. Got home from the festival yesterday. Coldplay was awesome as always. We waited for almost 5 hours to see them and and had to survive the terrible sounds of PJ Harvey and Portishead (which idiot scheduled those two hippy bands on the Mainstage before Coldplay? My god, what a fail) but it was all worth it. Was so happy to finally witness them playing Shiver and Everything's Not Lost live. And it's true, ETIAW is live like the new Viva La Vida. I'm still speechless because it was that good. Here are some of my pictures of the gig:
  25. Tonights setlist according to @Atzedevrieze on Twitter! http://www.mobypicture.com/user/wilbertmutsaers/view/9777747 And yeah I know it says the Heineken festival, but he claims that he saw it at the Pinkpop stage...
