  1. Wolf. Powers: Stealth, hunting ability, enhanced senses of smell and hearing, as well as strength and stamina "Family comes first" could be a Wolf's motto. You form deep connections with close friends and family members, and they know you'd do anything to protect them. You're loyal, devoted, and passionate. Your worst fear is being alone, but be careful not to drown your loved ones in too much emotion. Best matches: Swans, Otters, Crows Watch out for: Spiders, Owls, Foxes Any Swans, Otters or Crows wanna date? To all you spiders, owls and foxes - I'm totally gonna get you.
  2. Do you have a blueray player compatible with PAL? If so, I can send you a copy of Inni. PM me if yo' interested :) x
  3. You get sickened pretty easily. He isn't saying that at all. He is commenting on the fact that Mylo Xyloto has been specifically arranged to play well together and is cohesive. He enjoys listening to it all in a single sitting rather than pick out specific songs and take them away from their context.
  4. Ferdinand has been useless ever since he crawled out of his mother. United fans have been acting like he is the incarnation of Jesus for the last decade and I'm looking forward to them realising he isn't that great. He should have stuck to doing that weird Punk'd rip off show he did.
  5. :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3:
  6. It's funny, I think the Live music video captures the themes expressed in the studio one but does it even better. So yeah, I really don't see the point in the studio video. I was hoping they'd do something a little more out there.
  7. The only reason he isn't saying hi is because he is too scared due to how damn sexy you are.
  8. I think MX is their most cohesive album yet and the songs certainly go together - they tell a story and they share themes. They were specifically put together to do this. So I think you're wrong there. Anyway, the sooner people realise that artists don't owe them anything the better. Chris, Guy, Jonny and Will decide what happens. The band clearly want to evolve, push boundaries and change their sound after every album. I doubt they'll do something like Parachutes again. Parachutes was boring anyway. Most people here look back on that album with rose coloured glasses. Give it a listen from start to finish - it's good, but it's boring and it is missing a few links.
  9. Just saw it then. Eh. I think it was a bit of a wasted opportunity. They went with the whole youth and rebellion theme and I don't think that really suits Coldplay/The song. I don't think it would have hurt to be a little more creative and perhaps more colourful and more cartoon like. Make the rebellion aspect more subtle - don't glorify some idiot who smashes a car window in, steals it, drives to some nightclub, goes in, has dry sex with his girl, graffiti the car and watch fireworks. The song is amazing - I think it deserved a little more tact. I think the whole nightclub thing is a little contrived - especially from a band like Coldplay who are normally above that kind of stuff. Didn't like it. Oh well.
  10. I <3 you. Me no hate you.
  11. RazorEye, just because Spanish Rain has been played live and was written on a whiteboard along with a few MX songs doesn't mean it has actually been recorded. We just don't know.
  12. Kiame replied to Nikola's topic in Mylo Xyloto (2011)
I love them all - but my favourite is probably Up in Flames. I know- weird, right? I still think Up with the Birds is way too short. It just gets going and then it ends. Plus they don't play it live which is incredibly confusing to me.
  13. I wish Brent (Baw8cc) was actually David Brent. But yeah, that's all I thought of too.
  14. Because people like it. SHOCK HORROR.
  15. Really cool thanks man.
  16. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. Proof. Reign Of Love. A Rebel Yell Spell Paradise. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. Hurts Like Heaven Viva la Vida. Princess of China. A Rush of Blood to the Head. And I think Fix You is their best song.
  17. After listening to that interview with Howard Stern I got the impression that he has battled addiction pretty heavily. Not that it is our business. On topic, no, I don't think it has any connection at all.
  18. People get offended over everything these days. Who cares.
  19. I've often commented on my solution to fix SOPA and PIPA: Ban the private sponsorship of Congress members. Obama has just said this: "Send me a bill that bans insider trading by Congress members. I will sign it tomorrow" This, along with the two official statements he released against SOPA, prove that Obama is well and truly against the issue. I'm sick and tired of seeing cynicism and paranoia directed at Obama and the direct leadership. This problem does not lie with him at all - it lies with corporations and the sponsorship of asshole congress members. Congress, as it stands, is little more than a pit of corrupt rich people voting to ensure their paychecks keep coming in. Banning insider trading will stop this and it will force congress to act how it should - in the interests of the people. However, when Obama said this apparently half of congress stood up and cheered. There is some hope here - if the issue is fought for it will pass. I just doubt it will be fought for. There are too many bastards with too much money to make sure that doesn't happen. The entertainment industry's lifeblood is the sponsorship of congress. That is the only thing that is keeping the industry where they want it. I really hope this ends well.
  20. I didn't know what a "spy" was until I heard Spies. True story. Coldplay teaaaches m3 Engrish.
  21. Kiame replied to 42JTR's topic in Coldplay
The oracle is correct, they don't mime. Miming implies that they are doing actions that don't make sounds. What actually happens is that there is a playback and they play over the top of the play back. So when Jonny and Guy play the synths or whatever, them hitting the keys does actually make sound but there is a louder playback over the top of it. They do this because without it, songs like Viva La Vida would sound awful. I've got no problem with them doing it. However there are examples where I think the playback is ridiculous. The "oohooo ohh oh oh" bit in Paradise is clearly playback and you can't hear anyone but Chris sing it. Another time the playback is louder than the actual singing is the last part of Fix You. Once again, most of the time you can't hear anyone but Chris and the playback sing that.
