Coldplay Live

Just curious if it is possible to upload bittorrents, or any other form of live show to this site for use in the Download area? Is there a demand for more stuff up there? :cool:

Does anyone have any information on the supposed Las Vegas show that is happening on April 29th? I live in Vegas and would give my soul to go. Thanks in advance! :)

40 show tour: Coldplay's only two confirmed North American dates for 2005 so far are on April 29 at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the following night at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California (see "Coachella Snags Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Bright Eyes, Wilco"), but according to the band's management, a 40-city North American tour is scheduled to kick off in late July. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1498101/03142005/coldplay.jhtml

Coldplay will play at the Riverbend Music Center, Cincinatti in early August as part of the North American Tour, report the Cincinatti Enquirer. The outdoor arena on the riverfront in Anderson Township will host the show on August 11th, although local radio are now advertising the date as the 9th. The Coldplay first leg of the North American tour will start July 28th 2005 with Franz Ferdinand and Rilo Kiley as opening acts. They also will fly on a jet together as opposed to a tour bus, to be closer and be able to play more shows. They are rumoured to be touring in North America and playing 40 cities.

I've been thinking about which songs Coldplay will play live this summer. Here's my rough setlist, I know the album isn't out yet but I've included a few of the mystery new ones. so it's been posted that franz ferdinand and rilo kiley might be the opening acts for Coldplay's US leg of their 05 tour. whaddya guys think? i'm sure there's a lot of us who're franz ferdinand fans already, seein the both of them on the same night would be unbelievable, but rilo kiley? i've just recently heard some of their stuff from the new album, "portions for foxes" is quite catchy

I heard the intro music was from the album "Apollo" of Brian Eno. But i don't know which song! Can someone tell me the name of the song? (i will download it) :o

I have seen the set list for the KCRW gig...and it looks a bit short... Can anybody convince me that when I go to see Coldplay on 28th June 2005 :cool: that the set list will be longer and include more songs? :cry: i'd be very upset if they played the piddly set from KCRW

Hey. I'm flying home to England in May, and I want to attend one of the Coldplay concerts with a friend. But the eBay auctions selling tickets are screaming "TOUR IS ALREADY SOLD OUT!". Is this a ploy or are the Bolton shows (July 4th, July 5th) really sold out already? If they are, I will have to pay astronomical eBay prices I suppose (I'm hoping for seats, I don't think my legs could endure standing up!). Thanks for any help.

Coldplay plays Dublin on June 22. U2 plays Dublin on June 24 (snow patrol and Paddy Casey opening) and on June 25 with no opening bands announced yet. Coldplay's first announced date after Dublin is June 27. Wouldn't it be the best if Coldplay opened fer 'em? Couldn't get any better than those 2 bands playin' the same night.

In Britain at least? Keane I reckon will be favourites, for some reason it just seems a rather obvious pick, although I hope this isn't the case, much as I do like them. I think the band Thirteen Senses would make superb support, they are supporting Embrace in May and are currently in the middle of their first headlining tour. I saw them last weekend in Leeds and were of a real surprising live calibre, I just wasn't expecting it to work so well live. Any suggestions guys?

Hey, I've been searching hopelessly for the May 20, 2003 bootleg for the Edmonton show. It was taken from a live radio broadcast. I was at that show and wasn't able to record the radio broadcast. How easy is it to meet the band after a performance? And, if it is possible to meet them, where is the best place/how do you find out where you can meet them? I'm dying for them to come to Boston in '05. Let's all pray! Thanks!

so last night march 11th, the day before their scheduled kcrw gig coldplay held a secret kinda impromtu show at the hollywood club the troubadour, where it was i guess a random spur of the moment secret gig but the tickets where only $10, yea only 10 feakin dollars, makes me so mad i don't live on the dang west coast. have to miss out on all these little chances to see them. but i think thats crazy and anyone who got ot see them last night at the troubadour i'm sure got to hear a crapload of new stuff and for 10 bucks at a hell of a bargain and i'm sure in an awesome atmosphere. i just sure as hell wish i could have been one of them!!!
