Coldplay will play at this years HFStival in Baltimore, US. I think they are headlining. It will be May 14th which is incredibly soon. I am seriously considering driving from Toronto to see it. Coldplay are undoubtedly one of the biggest bands in the world right now. Many other bands which have shared their status have done special 'one-off' shows with an orchestra or string orchestra backing (Metallica, Incubus, Elton John, Portishead to name a few) Do you think that Coldplay will ever play a gig with an orchestral backing? Can you imagine Warning Sign, or The Scientist with a string orchestra backing? Pant-Wetting... I see this being a wonderful and profitable thing.. Keep it unreal ; )

hello everybody.. a little while ago i read that coldplay was unofficially playing at germain amp. in ohio and riverbend in ohio.. germain has been released but i checked riverbend and its not there. does anyone know if they are playing there??

Coldplay is performing a free show for fans May 17th at Beacon Theatre in NYC. Coldplay.com is giving away 300 tickets. Winner will be notified May 13th. Enter in the headlines section of coldplay.com Man I wish I lived in NYC.

What do you guys think? Is the setlist that the band has been playing at the buzz gigs going to be the set they play on tour, or will it get longer (say between 17-20 songs)? Now that they have three albums (plus all the songs debuted in 2002 and 2003) they could do a longer show than they used to. Personally, I would love to see them do a new setlist each night instead of the same set every night.

Well I got 4 reserved tickets from the club in section: lower RIGHT ROW gg. Unfortunatley I have a wedding that weekend and cant make it. that's right...i heardfrom a very reliable source taht Coldplay felt bad about what happend with the buzz giggs so they are playing 2 shows at the ACC atthe end of July and another one later in the year....it will be announced next week....

Im going to the show at the Kool Haus, who has been there before for a concert and what is it like, I think the capacity is around 2000. And any suggestions on how to get there from Union Station? Is it walkable? Anyway any info on coatcheck or merch or whatever would be greatly appreciated. Im also seeing Athlete and Snow Patrol there the week after. Cheers
