I think that Coldplay is one of these bands, that have a really great future. I'm listening to music for more than 20 years now, and there were a handful of bands that have the potential to get legends. Coldplay are one of these bands. I accept their decision to do a break at the top of fame. This is the best time to do it. It's hard to top x&y take all the time you need.

It’s so hard to keep track of all the things pregnant women should and shouldn’t do to keep their babies healthy. But an A-list actress like Gwyneth Paltrow could afford to hire her own baby health specialist to keep track of all the constantly changing recommendations if she wanted to. And Gwyneth just might have done so as she’s become one of the first celebrities to try a new recommendation: Guinness beer. Paltrow and her husband, Chris Martin of Coldplay dined at sushi joint, Cube 63 in New York on Tuesday night. According to the New York Daily News, it looked as though Gwyneth was eating sushi - a no no for pregnant women. Then Martin purchased some Guinness and P…

Following the news that Jennifer Aniston is to wed Vince Vaughan this summer, revelations have been exposed that the ceremony could be held at 43-acre Californian estate owned by none other than reigning queen of chat-show TV, Oprah Winfrey! The invitation is said to have been warmly welcomed by the new lovebirds, who are supposedly intent on outdoing Jen’s ex Brad in his controversial marriage to Angelina Jolie, a friend of the pair saying “Does she want to upstage her ex-husband Brad and his bride-to-be Angelina? You bet!” Co-stars Vince and Jen are planning to tie the knot in style, and are thrilled by plans to do it at such an unexpected destination. Should …

The amazing success story surrounding the new Warner Bros. Records artist Daniel Powter -- who will release his self-titled debut album on April 11th -- keeps growing, thanks to the triumph of "Bad Day," the album's lead-off single. The piano-driven pop track is the best-selling single in the U.S. this week, claiming the Number One spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Already Certified Double Platinum by the RIAA, it is also the most digitally downloaded song on iTunes for the second week in a row, having sold 113,000 copies this week alone and 454,000 to date. In addition, the album, a blue-eyed soul-pop classic that Rolling Stone describes as a distillation of Powter'…

well--it's not done. i'm gonna edit this post tomorrow with the finished product. progess: and the image quality is crap... it looks a lot better on paper since this is just a photo of my drawing, not a scan. it's too late (or, eh, early) to scan it though... it's 3:15 AM here, lol. my parents will get mad if they hear me walking around at three in the morning, lol. :uhoh: edit: here's the finished product: if it's taking forever to load on this page, maybe click the link...? http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/2425/jonnydrawingfinal23wp.jpg it looks soooo much better on paper...... oh well.

Once again, production designer Pete Faragher has created a state-of-the-art set that reflects not only the geographical location of the awards broadcast but its stature as the most exciting night in Canadian music. "The production design of The 2006 JUNO Awards has been influenced by the wind, the ocean, the rocky coastline, lighthouses and the easy-going way of life in Atlantic Canada," said Faragher. For the first time ever on The JUNO Awards, a standing-room-only, general admission section of the arena will see fans surrounded by 125 feet of elevated walkways leading to a central pod in the middle of the arena. "The shape of this walkway is like th…

Nine UK acts nominated for the MTV Asia Awards 2006 in Thailand… Franz Ferdinand and James Blunt are leading the British nominations charge at the MTV Asia Awards 2006 with two nods each. In the international categories, the Scottish art-rockers are up for best rock act and best video (for Do You Want To) and Blunty has been nominated for best male and best breakthrough artist. It’s a good year for the UK contingent, picking up nine nominations in all. Robbie Williams will compete with James in best male – although they’re up against Eminem, Kanye West and Ricky Martin. And Franz are joined by Coldplay and Oasis in the best rock category, with the Yanks represen…
