Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed that he's setting a goal and sticking with it for the band's fourth album. In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly with the oscar contenders on the cover, in the back of the mag, there is a small blurb that compares the Coldplay tour w/ Billy Joel's tour. It gives major kudos to Coldplay's light show and Fiona Apple. At the end of the article, EW gave Coldplay an A and Billy Joel B due to Chris' enthusiastic nature and amazing light show... lol good for us!

There's two Coldplay-related debuts on the official US singles chart, Billboard's Hot 100 this week. "In The Sun" debuts at #69 and is credited to "Michael Stipe & Friends." "Talk" FINALLY debuts this week as well, but all the way down at #96. What the hell? It's definitely a lot more popular than that, including with non-Coldplay fans. Anyway, the chart is based on radio airplay and digital sales... so any US people, download "Talk" at iTunes if you can so we can try to get it up higher. :)
