Hey, I have been a Coldplay fan for a while now and when I found this forum I didn't hesitate to sign up. Just wanted to say hello to everyone and just thank everyone for making a forum like this... csteinmetz1

I guess i should probably say hello all :) I'm a Coldplay fan from Melbourne, Australia. I had always enjoyed Coldplay's singles, but it wasn't until recently I became completely obsessed. :P I like all the era equally, but they change from day-to-day. Sometimes I am in an X&Y mood, but the next morning I'll be listening to VLV. Barely a day goes past without me listening, the songs are just brilliant and blow my mind. Favorites include: Strawberry Swing The Scientist Glass Of Water Gravity Don't Panic but as I said before, all are pretty much fantastic :P I use this "obsession" to often pass time, and when I feel down or stressed out, listening…

Hi My name is José and I'm 19 years old, I live in Porto, Portugal. I like Coldplay because they can create simple music with good lyrics and melodies. I´ve already been at a Coldplay show in Lisbon in 2005 and I like it very much . My favourite Coldplay's song is High Speed from the album Parachutes. My favourite album is Parachutes and i hope that the new album have a similar sonority.

Hello I don't know who will read this but this is the first online forum I've joined, and no better forum to join than that of Coldplay. Anyway, I am a 20 year old student at the University of Texas at Austin and hopefully I can meet more people like me (Coldplay fans) from around the world. Coldplay has inspired me in numerous ways, especially over the past year as I started intensively playing piano and guitar and learning Coldplay songs very often (The Scientist was the first one, of course, but need to learn a more advanced version). Dia Dhaoibh a Chairde! Hi! DMcU here, Bit of a coldplay fan you could say. I'm also a U2 fan and I have a few Electric Guitars so this kind of style of playing is something I like. I love delay, reverb, fenders, valve amps, compressors, TELE'S and the music that Johnny gets from his rig. I recently bought a Flanger (Boss Bf-3) so if any of you could help me with settings that I could use for 'Don't Panic', I know he used an MXR Phase 90 but I might get by with this! Also any delay settings would be great, like delay time in milliseconds (I have a Boss DD7). ROck on amigo's!

I love coldplay and have listened to them non-stop for the past 2 years. they mean alot to me. I play guitar, which I picked up pureley to learn coldplay songs, and I also skateboard. The number in my name (16909) is based on the first time i went to see coldplay, 16th of september 2009 at hampden park in glasgow. was one of the best nights of my life :) I want to get coldplay related tattoo's, probably will get the first next year.
