Germany rejects 'transfer bid' for octopus oracle Paul Paul picked a mussel from the "Spanish" tank before the World Cup final A German zoo has turned down a "transfer request" from Spain for its star performer during the football World Cup - Paul the "psychic" octopus. The cephalopod correctly predicted the outcome of all of Germany's seven matches in the tournament, and also plumped for Spain to lift the trophy. This made him an instant hero in Spain, and now Madrid's Zoo says it wants to put Paul on display in its aq…

School bans playground football after pupils copy 'cheating, fouling' World Cup players By Mail Online Reporter Last updated at 5:35 PM on 21st July 2010 Comments (13) Add to My Stories A primary school has banned football from the playground after its pupils began copying the cheating and fouling displayed by their World Cup heroes. School head teacher Pat Fay introduced the playground ban two days before Spain triumphed over Holland in the final. She claims pupils began ‘fouling, cheating and shirt pulling’ after watching their role models misbehave on television. The poor sportsmanship at this year's World Cup tournament, such as t…

So I copypasta'd this: This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the…

I found out there wasn't a thread about it on here and I doubt it'll be popular, but I felt the need to express my amazement in front of what's happening in the series so far. Anyone who's interested in the series too, just post! So, you know how everyone expected that the Washington Capitals would defeat the Montreal Canadians in 4 games? Well I did too, though I thought it would be in 5, but holy shit, the Canadians won again last night!! :o Seventh game ahead, what's your prediction? And any other series is okay to be discussed about on here too :)

So, to make gifs and things, or just to have a video on my iPod, I go to Firefox and use their video download center to get it off YouTube. I wanted the video to be it's original quality though, so I clicked on options and selected same quality. After I did that, when I'd try to download it as an iPod video, it either wouldn't download or would downlad as .flv still. Should I just get a quick free trial converter, or is there something else I can do? I really want this video to be HD. Thanks!

There are over 60 games on Whose Line... but which one is the best? I've created this tournament to answer that question. Over the past month, 64 games have been battling it out to determine which one is the best game that the show has to offer. Half the field has been eliminated after a several-week-long pool play, which had the 64 games separated into eight pools of eight games. The top four games in each pool advanced to tournament play, which works just like a normal single-elimination tournament. As you might have figured out, the matchups will be decided by your votes. You can only vote once per matchup, so choose wisely. If you run into a game that you're unfamilia…

Basically they don't seem to be working. I've tried to listen to songs on itunes, videos and audio on the internet and sounds on different programs but nothing. I have checked the sound card, did troubleshooting for the audio playback, updated sound drivers and installed new updates but still nothing. It says there is sound playing too but I can't hear it. Any suggestions? :uhoh: Thank you.
