I just watched a rerun of it on Bravo and was hit by an unbeleivable wave of nostalgia; this show was amazing and I remember being incredibly sad when it was cancelled, even though I was very young, maybe a little too young to appreciate it all, during its running. Anybody else like/liked this show? We could talk about it if you did. Come on, you know you wanna. :nice:

I was there. :awesome: Just got back, in fact. The last accident with Busch Jimmie Johnson, and Elliott Sadler was terrifying. Sadler's whole engine came out of his car and landed about 100 feet away. :uhoh: Too bad about the weather, though, that was a bit disappointing. http://www.sbnation.com/2010/8/1/1600035/elliott-sadler-pocono-nascar-crash-wreck-2010 Other than that there were only a few minor scrapes on the wall, but between that and weather there were quite a bit of yellow flags out. Kyle Busch also seemed to be having trouble with his car, not sure what that was all about. I was right across from his pit and I saw him there a lot. So. Anyo…

‘Scrubs’ makes fifth season surge, still a hit NBC’s “Scrubs” proved just that. After this season, the show will become syndicated. Comedy Central bought the rights to the dramedy and will start showing reruns in the fall of 2006. With wacky Zach Braff (“Garden State,” “Chicken Little”), veteran actor John C. McGinley (“Seven,” “Platoon”), familiar face Donald Faison (“Clueless”) and an all-star cast, the show brings comedic medicine better than the rest. “Scrubs” is about medical interns just beginning their careers. It is the plot basis that “Grey’s Anatomy” stole and turned into a drama. The basis of “Scrubs” is about John Dorian, or J.D. (Braff), Turk (Faison…

Earlier today I reported on the unlikelihood that the next Batman movie will be in 3D. But is that a fluke or part of a trend? If box office numbers are any indication, it's definitely the latter. Since the high-water mark of Avatar, where 71% of the revenue came from 3D screenings, numbers for big-budget 3D movies have plummeted to less than 50%. Obviously Avatar was a unique case in that it was basically sold as a 3D "experience," so if you saw it in 2D you were missing out. But then three months later the animated How to Train Your Dragon pulled in 68% of its revenue from 3D screens, hardly a significant drop-off. Fast forward a mere four months and you ha…

When Fabio failed at the World Cup he kept his job. North Korea's coach? He's been sent to work on a building site By Dan Newling Last updated at 4:30 AM on 31st July 2010 Comments (30) Add to My Stories England's disgraced World Cup footballers and coach Fabio Capello must be thankful they are not from Communist North Korea. Here we just boo our players when they fail (or give them more money) but in Pyongyang they do things differently. Their squad, which lost all three of its games in South Africa, has been subjected to a humiliating public dressing-down. The hapless players spent six hours being lectured, in public, on their failu…

I got a new iPod touch 2 months ago and it was working fine, until the lock button started being shit. I'd leave it locked and then out of nowhere, a few minutes later, the screen would display the buttons to turn it off even if I didn't hold the lock button. Now, the lock button won't work, the turn off thing keeps appearing and it only works when I want to turn it on. Is this a common problem with iPod touch? :/ And no, unlike most people here, I never dropped it or fell into water.

The in-car system lets drivers listen to Twitter updates without taking their hands off the wheel This is all controlled by Ford's SYNC system - a han…

Mobile phones have 18 times more bacteria than toilet handle By Andrew Levy Last updated at 12:57 AM on 28th July 2010 Comments (16) Add to My Stories They are pretty much essential, but you may want to ditch your mobile phone for ever after reading this. The average handset carries 18 times more potentially harmful germs than a flush handle in a men's toilet, tests have revealed. An analysis of handsets found almost a quarter were so dirty that they had up to ten times an acceptable level of TVC bacteria. A man holds his iPhone 4 in front of a mobile phone store in Tokyo. Phones can accumulate huge amounts of bacteria One of the …
