My old computer crashed, so I bought a new one. Almost all my music is on my Ipod. I don't have Itunes on my new computer yet, should I download the software to transfer my Ipod music to my computer then download Itunes? I don't want to have my Ipod erased with autosync because I'd lose a couple thousand songs. Any suggestions?

About 10 mins after, I took out my iPod (with the screen turned off) and turned the screen on only to find it had gone very pale and bright, I was like CRAPP!!
