So, I'm not sure whether this has been done but I was thinking of creating a post where people can submit their problems and surely someone in this community can help them or offer some great advice, tips, ideas. So, to get this rolling, I have an English assignment, I'm fine with the concept and everything but I need an issue that the media won't stop talking about. Basically I need to talk about how the media positions an audience to see the story from one side. tomorrow is the season finale of scrubs, & it's zach braff's last episode :( NO MORE JD!! i'm so depressed! i can't believe. if they don't cancel it, i know it's gonna get reeeeeeaaaaaaaally stupid. anyways, we're also gonna learn the janitor's name, which i'm guessing is josh. my top 5 favorite tv shows: 1. the simpsons 2. family guy 3. south park 4. scrubs 5. tie b/w american dad, king of the hill, & futurama king of the hill & scrubs being cancelled in the same year! WTF! (well, technically scrubs isn't getting cancelled, but it's gonna get ar-tarded.) anyways, i just needed to vent b/c i'm ultra pissed

In recent times, many series have opted to forgo the full-length opening theme song/sequence and replace it with either a sort of half song (think Gossip Girl and Greek) or just a flash of the show's name (think Lost and as of last season, One Tree Hill). Even shows that used to have full length opening credits have recently started to abbreviate them - like Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. I agree that some shows don't need a full opening sequence (I can't imagine any sort of opening credits that would do Lost justice), but in general, it's a great way to set the stage for the show.
