scott pilgrim vs. the world 5/10

^Seconded!

Master And Commander. Since I didn't see it from the start I don't want to rate it, but what I saw was pretty good.

^WHAT! Can you elaborate please..?

i'm neither a comic nor a gaming fan but decided to see this either way, just to see what the fuss was all about. it started off pretty good, but the whole fighting stuff isn't really my cup of tea. some scenes were quite funny though and the digital effects were also quite cool. i'm just not a big fan of the storyline. so yeah, 5 means average.

:disappointed:

aww, come on, tastes are supposed to be different, heh.

... i have to cope with people telling me they didn't like LOTR all the time ;D

But-but...Edgar Wright and Micheal Cera  Oh, well.

ok, you're right, michael cera is actually quite cute :P haha!

haha. maybe, or maybe it was just me being tired ;)

Due Date - 6/10

It's not an awesome, unbelievable movie but I had a great time and some great laughs. You don't have to think too much while watching some movies, if you know what I mean... But even if the movie wasn't great, it's still a great pleasure to watch Robert Downey Jr. He's still perfectly acting...

^ I want to watch that movie so much!!! :D

Across The Universe - 9/10 Loved it! :nice:

Cornelis 5/10 :disappointed:

Spiderman 2. I really liked it

Cornelis 5/10 :disappointed:

Not worth seeing, then? I think Hank Von Helvete is a perfect match!

120 Days of Sodom 0/10

filthy, disturbing, I didn't even finish the movie.

Right, that's a tough one...

I saw the whole movie without making any pause, it was more like a kind of bet with some friends. I remember thinking it was, like you said, absolutely filthy and disturbing, indeed, but that was what made its strength. The perversion was so hard that it was fascinating. The shock was so strong that it is stuck in my head now, and probably forever...

It's a bit like Aristotle's Catharsis, you know? Once you've seen something dirty like this, you're washed...

I got as far as the shit eating part.

I guess for the 70s it was super shocking, i mean it was banned in a few countries.

And I didn't think it was gonna get to me that much being 30-40 years later, our way of viewing what used to be shocking then, we might find it a little less crazy nowadays. But BOY WAS I WRONG. I almost threw up at that point in the movie. I just shut it off, ugh!

I'm scarred, not fascinated :P
