I just love the way he describes everything............

It's so aggressive but at the same tme you can tell that it's really heartfelt... if you know what I mean.

 

I think Pheobe would have been a great little sister to have :smug:

that's one of the best books ever. i read it once in 8th grade, and i read it again my junior year, and its like i learn more and more everytime i read it. really, really great coming of age story. read it and i swear you will fall in love with Holden

there's usually 2 or 3 copies going on ebay.co.uk or you should be able to get it from amazon.co.uk

Oh thats great teen book...First I read it when I was 13 and read it sometimes,its great

I read it as a compulsory reading, but it's probably one of my favorites.

we'll start to read it in our english lessons.. :) i'm pretty curious..

i read it in highschool great book, i really connected with what the main character was going through.

i got a copy cause the school library was giving them away FREE :stunned: :huh: :stunned: :)

Awesome book .. it's practically a required reading for most high schools, though at one point people tried getting it banned.

 

I also liked "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" .. it's comparable to being very similar.

I read this book in 7th grade.. I probably should re-read it again, soon.

I like the way it's written, you're never quite sure if you can trust that all the details are being relayed accurately!

Total classic. I used to make it a point to read it every summer, at least once a year. haven't read it now for some time - thanks for the thread - that's my next book to read!!!:laugh3:
