I saw Neil Hannon open up for Ben Folds a few years ago, and wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Uh... that's it. :P

AH! Finally, i posted a Thread Ages ago about them. They're Excellent, Neil Hannon is pretty amazing. i understand that the songs aren't for everyone, but, the songs do take longer to get used too than many othe bands. Regeneration is a great album. I went to see them in London, and it was being shot for a DVD..which is out in September sometime. he writes all the scores for the orchestra, he's pretty clever

I heard a song from their latest album... "Come home billy bird" ... really good track :)

ah yes! the band who brought us The National Express. and er, the theme tune to Father Ted..........nice  :D

I loved the "no one knows" cover :D

I´m making a website and I used part of "The Perfect Lovesong" on the layout..

'im listening to them right now and its so sweet! :)

i have EXCLUSIVE :/ video footage from the same gig as the DVD gig they're bringing out. :) i was taking some video footage and some pictures...and even though i was actually stopped doing it (which i did as soon as i was told, because i saw other people taking pictures so i thought why not!) i still got some audio and video footage. :D a 30 second snippet of No-one Knows, and a couple of others.

has anyone else watched any of his orchestra gigs he's been playing lately?

The band, not Dante's. Did not see them in the band index, excusez moi if there's a thread like this.

Anyone into them?

I love them, ehrm, Neil Hannon.

baritone + orchestra + some rock/pop instruments = so much win
