February 23, 200719 yr ^ Well, we had to do it for the school, but make comparison with the movie "The Island" (also made by his other book) instead. It was alright... Right now... 1984 (George Orwell) I had to read that for school last year. It's an alright book, but if you're reading it for school I feel sorry for you. We had to analyse it in relation to our module (In The Wild) and compare/contrast it to the movie Bladerunner. otherwise, it's kinda interesting. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - the Trilogy of Four by Douglas Adams When I read Brave New World, then watched "The Island", I couldn't stop thinking how similar they were with the way people were "modified", and also Brave New world is quite similar to the movie "Gattaca" with how people were modified to be the best, and babies were no longer born, quite strange really lol. How do you like Hitchhiker's? They're my favorite books, actually there's five of them, if you want to finish up the series. The last is called "Mostly Harmless." :)
