July 18, 200916 yr has anyone read Demon Seed by Dean Koontz? That's awesome! i'll have to keep it in mind! dean koontz is an excellent writer! i recently finished up "Godmother" by Carolyn Turgeon. its a twist on the cinderella story, and is a great quick-read :D
July 18, 200916 yr I'm reading White Teeth by Zadie Smith, for summer reading (I feel like a high schooler, having "summer reading"). I've only read about 10 pages or so, and it looks promising, but for some reason I procrastinate reading books I'm required to read, even if they're good :uhoh:. I have a month to read these as well (once I stop procrastinating, it'll be easy): -A History of London by A.N. Wilson -Ms. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf -Trolius and Cressida by Shakespeare (I'm thinking of only *pretending* to read this one. I don't get along with Shakespeare, and I don't think we're going to do much with it in the course I'm taking--we're basically only required to read it because we're going to see the play in London).
July 25, 200916 yr I just started reading a book I got when I was in Australia, again. "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson. Figure after reading 1421 by Gavin Menzies needed something light
July 25, 200916 yr KoontzOMG I have to google this man, the way his surname is written is hilarious and surprising! I'm reading Hospital by Toby Litt. :wacky:

Figure after reading 1421 by Gavin Menzies needed something light Light? That Bill Bryson book is extremely intense, at least compared to his others! I'm reading 'In Cold Blood', by Truman Capote. It's super creepy but super good so far.
