They were talking about how Paul likes hip-hop but the band wouldn't go into that, and I read an article before about how Carlos's love of Classical music was tearing the band apart... ffs! No wonder they come up with bland records like Our Love To Admire, they're afraid to experiment and try new things! I really hope thier next album is the Kid A of Interpol records or something.

i've been listening Our Love To Admire quite alot this week. and its not as bad as most people claim. if you block out the very average vocal work, musically its a very strong album. of course its nothing on Antics.

 

any news of a new Interpol record anytime soon?

it's a good album but Famous Old Painter is right. you can feel they cannot agree in which direction they should go. maybe paul is not such a strong frontman like thom yorke. who knows.
