August 7, 201213 yr Saw these guys last week. A mixed performance overall, but the new stuff sounds pretty good (in fact, it's now leaked haha). Back to the post-punk basics, which is great since I hated Intimacy. Took this video of one of the newbies: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wgnka7dKtKc&feature=plcp]Bloc Party - Team A - Live at HARD Summer Festival - Los Angeles, CA 8/3/12 - YouTube[/ame]
August 10, 201213 yr I am a fan of the album - good mixture of all three albums but the guitars are stellar. Love Coliseum's aggressiveness but VALIS, Truth and The Healing are also very good.
August 14, 201213 yr If anyone is interested the new album is also available on streaming: http://four.blocparty.com/#intro
August 22, 201213 yr So I'm not a massive fan of Bloc Party but I do enjoy their music. Listening to Four on Spotify and I'm really enjoying it. i cant stop listening to the healing. it's by far the best song off the album. THIS! Least favourite would probably be 3x3
August 22, 201213 yr agreed with the Healing....definitely buying tickets to their Toronto show soon! :D
August 23, 201213 yr Other songs I'm loving are Real Talk, Day Four, Truth and the two bonus tracks. Yeah, I'm enjoying the slower songs more than the rest. :P
August 24, 201213 yr I think the slower songs are a bit better than let's say, 3x3 for example - which still isn't too bad, yet not as good, lol. The bonus ones are great because I don't think 'We're Not Good People' should be the 'closer' because of its aggressiveness
January 5, 201313 yr Two more years, there's only two more years Two more years, there's only two more years Two more years so hold on [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyjV9hDNRvQ]Bloc Party - Two More Years - YouTube[/ame]
