June 13, 200917 yr All I know is, I would never buy a digital copy of a Beatles album. They deserve to be owned in physical form. Agreed. Same as I would never buy King Crimson or Genesis on Itunes. They're offering the complete Led Zeppelin, too, but I think I'll swing for the physical boxset rather than buy the digital download.
June 14, 200917 yr I personally can't wait to hear Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, Abbey Road, and The White Album remastered. :)
June 20, 200917 yr Happy birthday, Paul! Looking good as always :P On a side note, I'm so excited for September... :cheesy:
June 20, 200917 yr Hello everybody. I've never been in this thread before. I downloaded (kill me if you want, I don't care) all the albums by The Beatles a few weeks ago and listened to Abbey Road. My first thought was that it's okay, nothing special. Then about a week ago I gave it another listen and liked it a lot more. I also listened to some other albums and they're great. What I love about The Beatles is that their music puts me in a good mood, makes me happy. So, recently, I hardly listen to anything but The Beatles. That's about it for now. Bye! :D

June 20, 200917 yr That's why I love Abbey Road the best, just the 2nd part of the album and how the songs go from one to another. My favorites are Sun King-Mean Mr. Mustard and Polythene Pam-Bathroom Window... such an amazing album

June 22, 200917 yr i love strawberry fields, can i know who actually wrote the song? i bet it is george harrison.
June 22, 200917 yr i love strawberry fields, can i know who actually wrote the song? i bet it is george harrison. John Lennon there are very few things in music better than the second half of abbey road I totally agree. On their own those songs are really not anything really special, but the way that they are strung together is just genious. It's weird because when I listen to the 2nd side, when I get closer and closer to the end to me it feels that the band is closer and closer to saying goodbye. Like the music sounds very fitting to end a career. I also love how You Never Give Me Your Money makes a short reprise during Carry that Weight...ughh just an amazing album!
June 22, 200917 yr oh thanks. i bet its harrison, because i really like his stuff like something and here comes the sun.
July 6, 200916 yr I am having a Beatles Spree this week, only gunna listen to the Beatles I've also made my sig into a poster, need to find a frame for it, will look pretty sexy on my wall
July 6, 200916 yr haha i've been listening to loads of Beatles this week also. Listened to Revolver last night which is my fave album from them. might give Abbey Road a spin tonight. my goal for this winter uni break is to properly listen to all their albums and all of led zep's albums also.
July 7, 200916 yr Abbey Road is so amazing. The only track that seems "out of place" is Maxwell's Silver Hammer, not cos I dislike it, I actally really like it, it just doesn't really fit in with the rest of the album
July 8, 200916 yr Your sig is awesome, Nathan. I kind of agree about MSH. It doesn't fit that well with the rest of Abbey Road, there's something about it that's too different. But it's an awesome song nevertheless! :nice:

July 9, 200916 yr Yeah they all hated it seemingly You are right about John George said it was "Fruity" Ringo: "The worst session ever was 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer.' It was the worst track we ever had to record. It went on for fucking weeks. I thought it was mad."
