Do you think Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is about LSD?

discuss.

There's nothing to discuss. It was confirmed years ago.:dozey:

No. It's NOT about LSD.

This is what I think about the whole song. I don't think that the title of the song is in direct reference to LSD in the sense that Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds is directly related to LSD. I believe the story that Julian drew a painting of Lucy and called it Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. The lyrics of the song however might be different. I mean we know that the Beatles experimented with drugs, so I think that lyrics of the song might pertain what it might be like on an acid trip.

So overall I think that the title of the song is just coincidental for it looking like an anagram for LSD, but at the same time the lyrics to the song may be talking about being on a "trip". That's just my $00.02

But ''Help!" is about LSD.

I read that it was based on a drawing my Lennon's son of the same name. I'm sure the acronym was purely coincidental, but that doesn't subtract from the fact they were taking a lot of drugs around that time.
