awesome just awesome

Good ending, although it kinda makes the whole series completely pointless :P Anyone else think the silence are the freakiest things ever? Swear they're more scary than any character from any horror movie I can think of.

am i the only one who did really the end of this series

I'm still confused... I liked it (apart from the cheesy&sappy wedding part) as it explained everything but it still doesn't make much sense. If something's a fixed point in time, how can you cheat it like that? And the Doctor WHO part. I think we all got it figured out in August already.

I did enjoy the series on a whole and the finale but I still believe series 5 was better.

People had been saying for ages that it was hugely complicated but actually it wasn't, Moffat introduced us to The Tessalecta whilst throwing in the Flesh Doctor as a red herring and some people were telling me that it could be two separate timelines because of the different coats which were quite strange and made it feel more complicated than it was. Loved that bit at the end when Amy suddenly realised that The Doctor was her Son In Law and that she had kissed him

I think the whole thing could have been avoided had she just shot the tesselecta and The Doctor would be fine, just tricking The Silence into thinking he was dead.

The big question now is whether they are actually married, as a) we don't know whether River knows his name b) She kissed a tesselecta

Its was a very very clever finish !

I watched all of the episodes I missed on Saturday, which was season 6.

HOLY CRAP.

It was just great

Could the fall of the 11th be any indication of the end of the Matt Smith era? I hope not!

It was a great season finale, although I could've done without the cheesy marring thing :dozey: Other than that, it was very entertaining and they managed to get everything sorta clear without making my head explode

Yeah I thought that the next series could be his last :(

they just renewed the contract for one more year so most probably next series will be his last

and they are saying that the doctor can only regenerate 12 times, which means 1 more doctor and thats it...

i rewatched the last six episodes again and i still think the last series was better then this one

I doubt it, technically he has already had 12 regenerations when 10 was shot by a Dalek in series 4, Plus when River saved him in Let's Kill Hitler she gave him some of her regenerations.

Best episode of series 5 was Vincent and The Doctor

Best episode of series 6 was The Doctor's Wife

I actually thought that the opening 2 parter were the best for this series

i was talking abt the full physical regeneration not just whr the doctor dies for a few seconds and then wake up

He did fully regenerate he just didn't change because he was desperate to stay the same but yeah I know what you mean and I don't think the writers are even counting than regeneration :/

Also, that regeneration rule was for controlling the population of Gallifrey, so I don't think it's relevant anymore.

My god....a Doctor Who discussion on a coldplay fansite......it's like 2 of my favorite things on the planet all wrapped up in one awesome package. I wonder if they will return Amy and Rory to the show somehow on the X-mas epsiode?

they might do, though I doubt it seen as they usually just have a guest star on the xmas special but apparently they'll be in the next series a few times.

That's what i thought, after all in the episode where the doctor goes back to find craig, they make an appearance. its got to mean something right? usually once someone's out of the TARDIS, that's it, you never see them again
