Ok when I said this place seems dead, I did mean atmosphere wise

And I agree with a lot of people's comments too, But I know that I am starting to like this board less and less and it is because of what I listed down in the first post

what i consider with this 'board being nearly dead'-idea is it being dead with the atmosphere that there used to be. when i first joined it was like the funniest thing ever, i loved posting and stuff. people were nice and friendly but nowadays i'm not actually talking to anyone else who i didn't get to know those days. i haven't been around that long to say that i would've been here when the real oldies were here but there are still people that i knew and miss much now. i know that they're gone and stuff and i'm not trying to give a nostalgic cry here to get them back but anyway.

 

we can go blaiming anybody but the fact is ( at least for me ) that this board just isn't as much fun as it used to be and i'm sick of this being a battlefield where you have to take sides all the time. and NO it's not helping a shit if we just try to live happily together when it isn't obviously working. yes, this is still only a messageboard (a damn good one may i add) and maybe we shouldn't take things so seriously but what i'm trying to say is that i can find easier ways to get frustrated than log in and start to quarrle with people about who did what wrong and what is spam. and it's not something you can just go and ignore cos it's always starting in the majority of the threads.

I didn't really wanna be the person to break to everyone but it looks like I may be the only one to realise it at the moment

This board is losing its touch, I'm the person that thinks that too. Loads of people have left that were "main members". I admit, I wasn't nessercarily friends withy them all, But other people were and there upset about it

Another thing i've realised is that the board has suffered way too much damage, Mainly being:

-The whole DaveG thing

-Hackers

-Arguements with certain members

-Newbies coming then fucking off

 

I don't want anyone to blame anyone here, I want everyone to keep their opinions to themselves for now. Basiclly, I just want people to post ideas of how we can fix this place up, I respect Ian, Stephan and Jen a lot for making this board possibl;e, I've met some great people here and i would like to keep coming here, But because of what i've listed, I'm not sure it'll be possible anymore

 

Once again, I'm sorry for breaking it to everyone, I would apreciate it a lot if people didn't just spam this thread, As this may be the only thnig keeping this board alive for now

I'm glad people are finally understanding with some of the things I ment, I'm hoping now people have said this others will follow and maybe we can help work this place better

People sometimes are busy Jak they are a few people I dearly miss too. But it has to be respected sometimes people lives are just a little busier than they normally are... I hope some of my oldies come back too mate I really do .

Y'know honestly now, when you're here and your posting you wonder why the hell some people just stopped. But speaking from experience of having stopped posting for like 6 or 8 months (On two occasions) you hardly think about the board when you're pre-occupied.

 

But I still yeaaarned for it... :/
