oh they are really good !! my fav one is "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" its so great, the lyrics are so cute :}

it is. i love that song tooooooooo

They're music is unbelievably relaxing to me. And very, simple. On their earlier albums anyways.

Definitely one of my favorite bands

So I heard that DCFC is composing the lead single for the Twilight sequel. :veryangry2:

(More Death Cab is fantastic, but Twilight?)

I recently heard "cath..." and its the first i have ever heard of them. I now really want to hear some more so i was wondering whether anyone could upload me their best album?

I can't upload anything right now (I might be able to tonight, though), but I can tell you some of their tracks that you must hear!

First of all, Transatlanticism is the best album out there. With that said, definitely try Plans and The Photo Album (both amazing albums as well).

My favorite DCFC tracks:

Grapevine Fires (from Narrow Stairs)

I Will Possess Your Heart (from Narrow Stairs)

A Lack of Color (from Transatlanticism)

Marching Bands of Manhattan (from Plans)

Passenger Seat (from Transatlanticism)

Transatlanticism (from Transatlanticism)

What Sarah Said (from Plans)

Soul Meets Body (from Plans)

Coney Island (from The Photo Album)

^thankyou for that information. I will try and listen on youtube or something. If you could upload anything that would be great.

Plans to me is their most listenable album, I love how easy it is to get into

To me, it's always varying between Transatlanticism and Plans. Both are extraordinary good.

I only have Narrow Stairs LP and I haven't listened to it very well, but I love 'I will posses your heart'. I have to listed to this LP more to say something more about them.

Yeah, pay attention to Grapevine Fires, Long Division and Your New Twin Sized Bed :wacky:

I listened a lot to Grapevine Fires when I was working in a vineyard (very, very shitty work). The idea of grapevines burning was really therapeutic. :P

I agree that both Transatlanticism and Plans are extraordinarily good, but Narrow Stairs is pretty awesome as well.

THese three albums are the best, I am not much into the first albums... sadly..

^what a great album!

I remember it was the first death cab album i got and I didn't like it because of vocals. then i revisited it a few months ago and it was great!

So how much are you into them now? What's your favorite album?

My siggy rocks

I'm not into them as much as say a year ago, but I still really like them! I have to listen to them more and get into their other albums. Transatlanticism is the only album that I'm pretty familular with.

I was so into DCFC in 2006. :laugh3:

Transatlanticism is a great album for cleaning, by the way. :P

New album in spring 2011? Sounds about right:

Transatlanticism is a fan-favorite, although I still like Plans the best (though it's a more mainstream album). Definitely check out there other stuff. Even their earliest stuff is interesting.

^Oh yeaaah, new stuff (that they won't give away to a movie. Yes, I love Meet Me On The Equinox, it's a brilliant track :wacky:).

And same here, Plans is my second favorite album of all time, even if it's more mainstream. I love some of their earlier stuff, but I don't like the atmosphere of it, I'm much more a fan of their last 3 albums.

Bump.

I am gonna go buy a Death Cab CD one of these days, could somebody recommend a good one to start off with?

Plans
