ummm...no theyre not. as long as coldplay dont release another record on a musical scale of say the bends or ok computer or kid a, theyre not a better band. and to be honest, parachutes/arobtth/x&y are not better than any of those three albums. and coldplay sucks live in comparison. sorry to be brutally honest.

x&y is miles better than kid a. I also love radiohead,but they are now two very different bands. ;)

I really love radiohead but some of their fanbase are rabid assholes who will do anything to discredit any band that comes along with any hint of a radiohead sound to them. Radiohead and Coldplay, to me, cannot be compared. Completely different styles set these two bands apart. And because Coldplay are more commercially successful than Radiohead, there is a disdain for them amongst some of the radiohead fans. Though it is true that radiohead is a better live band than coldplay

I personally like both and I think rh is probably the better band.

But trying to compare rh and cp is hard.They're so different.

i think that Radiohead and Coldplay shouldn't be compared, They are both very good bands. I think that we should leave it at that. And if the Radiohead fans don't like coldplay or their new album, its their opinion and their loss.
