yes, YBIAW is by john mayer. i actually love that song, despite of what anyone thinks of him.

John is the man, I just saw him in St.Louis a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. He not only has really good songs, but they're complicated as hell. My friend is really good at guitar and he can't even begin to play "Neon" b/c it's too hard, with the really weird chords and tapping on the guitar all at the same time. John's new cd is going to be out soon and I'll be sure to pick it up.

Mraz isn't trying to be mayer....if anything he wants to be matthews, but mraz does not have the arrogence aroudn him that makes him seem like a pompus uptight twat...which mayer seems to have.

fairly big John Mayer fan here. Room For Squares is a great cd.

Sarah McLaughlin is very talented...it's just that all of her songs sound pretty much the same in my opinion. :P

I'm not a fan of his album material, but what gives him so many fans is his live performaces, the dude can play guitar like a maniac, he turns his songs into jam sessions and just goes on and on. Thats basically how he made it big.

I didn't realize environmentalists where against downloading. In fact, I would suspect that a radical environmentalist would much prefer downloading since it doesn't require anything beyond electrons and a computer.
