July 14, 200520 yr Paul's had as many good solo albums as John or George. He's just had a lot of bad ones too. for me, the bad ones offset the good ones!
July 16, 200520 yr Charles. You must familiarize yourself then. To truly enjoy music' date=' one must have a firm foundation of Beatles music.[/quote'] Hah, yep they just seem ol' times idols for me.
July 16, 200520 yr Aaron is correct though, the Beatles are really the be-all and end-all of music. Its where every band has come from since.
July 16, 200520 yr Yeah, as I've said before, liking any kind of rock or pop music and not knowing the Beatles is like being a painter and not knowing what the color red looks like.
July 26, 200520 yr Paul only has five votes?? :o I think John is only beating him because he's dead. John caused to much trouble (while trying to promote peace, lol). George was usually people's least favorite until he passed. Poor Ringo is so underrated.

George was usually people's least favorite until he passed. Poor Ringo is so underrated.[/quote'] or maybe it's because a great number of the songs Paul wrote in The Beatles were absolute shite ('Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' and 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' anyone?) and his solo career was nowhere near as good as John's or George's. And as far as I can remember, George has always been considered one of the favourites. Anyway, I agree Ringo is underrated. People always say he was a shit drummer, but these people are obviously ignoring the drumming on Abbey Road.
