Is Coldplay going to do a DVD of their 2005 Concerts?

Featured Replies

 And what is CFU?

Question: Is Coldplay planning a DVD?

Answer: I don't know, but most likely. Every major act who has had a successful album/tour has a DVD release around Christmas to make even more money. So, yes most likely. But don't hold it to me because I really don't know shite about it.

Question: What is CFU?

Answer: A cult.

Well. Not really. But other people can explain what it is better than me.

i hope they do! because i could not get to go to any any of their concerts!

I'm thinking Earl's Court probably

i think they may release another live DVD of the tour

Me too! Need for DVDs...

I think they will, but werent they saying something awhile ago, about them feeling like their milking thier fans?

Oh Coldplay we dont mind being milked. :)

I would love it if they did cos i love their 2003 dvd!!!Please do it!!! :)

Maybe we should all start a petition and send it off to Debs or something so they can know that their fans want a new band DVD!!!!

I'm thinking Earl's Court probably

I HOPE SO!!!! 14th! 14th! 14th! :D

NO!!!!! 16th!!!!!!! And me screaming my head off in the front row!

Front row... haha. So jealous.

And I'd looooove a DVD of this tour. Where's that petition?!

i missed the tour this year so it would be awesome if they made one.

they should!! they should!! they should!!!

oh, how cool!! i cant wait!!!

Please!! they should make one!!!! :D

Mandy - your siggy is cracking me up...

Okay...so I really am starting up an online petition for a new Live DVD...aptly named...Live 2005 DVD!! Clever, dontcha think? :D

Let me know if this is a waste of time, folks...if this petition has some power behind it, I'll definitely send it off to Debs or whoever I can on the official site!

I think they will because they do have footage from the video screens up above them. So it's not like there weren't cameras at the concerts. So, (hopefully) they may do something with all that video footage.

I hope so...and I hope the tour diary section will be a lot longer than the last. I've seen concert DVDs with other artists and they have a ton more footage and stuff than Live 2003.

^^yes definently longer, and i think a section for their videos would be a good bonus too!!Then we could watch their videos whenever we want!! :) :wink3:

Coldplay are too secretive in there last one..

that makes no sence to you guys probably.

But they seem so ..

I dunno

private.

a security guy at the seattle concert said they were filming for a dvd, so i think they shoot a little of each show for the tour diary maybe? i just hope i'm not in any of those shots, i must have looked stupid there in the front row screaming and singing along and blinding jonny with my camera.

I'm afriad there are not enough cameras present to put together a professional DVD from any show. There are only one or two, at most, cameras on each of the 4 band memebers.

If they were really filming for a DVD in Seattle, that's interesting - did anyone else notice this? The problem with shooting in an arena is that, often, the lighting show must be adapted for the cameras, if someone had been to both Seattle and a non-Seattle show, was there much difference?
