I mean, to the Lounge General non-Coldplay discussion.

 

Is it to know more people over the world? Is it simply to discuss different general things? Is it because obviously Coldplay are mentioned a lot in here for a general discussion forum?

Yeah as you know I mainly come here now to just discuss, there was a time when I was more interested in knowing people but I dont want to anymore because I find it hard to come on the internet, make topics, reply to topics, discuss everything, and then get around to keeping up on various people's lives. It leaves me with barely enough time to reply to very long and detailed emails about people's personal lives, I just cant keep up I guess. I just end up feeling guilty.

 

I also dont go on MSN much anymore, I just have enough time to do Coldplaying daily and very little else.

same here: don't go to MSN as often as i used to...i prefer to stay here

but in the last time it happens rarely

Its hard to be on MSN when your doing other things. Usually when I'm on the comp I'm of course at home, and I'm sorting out 50 different things. It's ok as nobody notices when its just the forum, but on MSN, you cant keep taking 10minutes to reply to someone, its a bit offensive.

I have no idea.Maybe because its interesting to me to talk to people who have the same interests as me.I mean,its hard to find Colpdlay or Muse or Travis fans here,where I live so I really have nothing to talk about with my classmates and others.

haha i think same here.on msn sometimes you talk to 193294 people at the same time it means 238749283 different windows :rolleyes3:... here people can do it in one thread which is much better and you can always take a time-out and come back later

i think that what i like too....just chat when you want to, and keep up with stuff and people in your own time.

 

Plus dont have to just talk about one thing, can talk about different subjects. Plus my mate dont really like the same music as me, so i can come here and talk about it.

i used to love MSN but can never be bothered with it much lately...

 

i go in the Lounge section more than Coldplay Section mainly because its interesting and fun (ok sometimes not... just boring...) and there is only so much Coldplay you can take in :D

i mostly come on this board for the Lounge now...

i honestly donnu... i usually come to the bored without special hopes of talking to someone special or being in some intresting discussion. I just log on whenever i'm bored, or have some time i need to burn..... and then i just get caught uo in it

because the ppl and discussions here are great

at the beginning i was always on the Coldplay boards, but then i "discovered" the lounge, and it's nicer than the coldplay boards- they get kinda boring (and that would comtradict the whole reason i come to the board in the first place......)

i don't know what makes me come here....i guess its the coz i've got friends around

But i love talking, and here i have the chance to practice my english, so it fun...

I think it's just boredom really.

 

I mean, I'm on here usually every day but reading primarily not replying to every message I can. I post in topics I find interesting so whenever I come here I just look around for some. It's like a 10minute thing on and off thing.

I think I come here because I'm bored...and want to discuss things.....and for meeting people.....and to talk/discuss with people who have the same interests as me (in case of music etc.....)....people here in my area don't listen to the same music as me (people I know)!

Well to be honest.. The first time I discovered Coldplaying, I was all happy because it had a lot of mp3 and shows that I did not had which was pretty much the reason why I joined in. But then I met some other fans who at first I didn't really had any interest in getting to know or even talking to them.. but then something happened that I somehow started to care for them :confused: and then I fell in love with Johnny :heart: but then Coldplay broke my heart and was pretty upset with the band. Anyway... I'm talking too or typing too much and not writing about why I visit the Lounge lol. I visit The Lounge because:

 

- I like to read people's stories.. (Anyone who knows me.. knows that I love stories.. :p)

 

- It's my job to read every thread in here..

 

- The people..

 

- I don't have to say much about myself.

 

- And because I can ask people's opinions on certain things that I might not want to talk about it with someone I know in my personal life.. or want them to know..

 

- Because it distracts me from what it really is going on in my life..the events, etc. It relaxes me...

 

I can keep on going with reasons..but I'll stop there for now ;) :D :p

The people here are cool. I go on MSN all the time but only talk to a few people.

I like the people here... all my coldplaying friends are so nice.. and all the people is friendly..also it's because it's really interesting to talk with people from another places and to share with them our music tastes .... it's nice to see that I have so much in common with people that is so far from here...

 

and well... coldplaying is very addictive

For me is the opportunity to share experiences with people of differents cultures and from differents countries.

To be honest I never felt so well in a forum.I like this forum so much.

I found amazing the things that music can do.

Music breaks any culture barrier and almost any language.

 

And the board is unique.

I like the ppl here :)

I just love Coldplay, I want to know everything about them, and make some new friends. :smiley:

Hmm.. I don't know.. for change, I think :) it's nice to chat also about something else than Coldplay. And this is a good way to spend time if I'm bored :D

i think this is a very good forum, with some interesting people... that makes nice discussions here, and of course is always nice to meet these people... :)
